Setting Profiles Lite

I would give this app 5 stars, but the ringtone I have set up on two of the profiles keeps reverting to the Samsung (Galaxy S3) default tone, meaning I keep having to change it back. Notification tones work fine, it's just ringtones that keep failing. Not the end of the word but annoying nonetheless.

Not working correctly with Marshmallow (6.0x). For example, the plane switch does not work anymore.... Sad. It was a great app

Does what Blackberry phones did by default: automagically go into "meeting mode" during busy events in your calendar, a feature I find hard to live without after having it for a while.

It could do with some direction, or any really.

Screen timeout "never" doesn't work. Also needs to control GPS!

I have had this app for years and it is amazing bit of a learning curve for most but I can't have a phone without it. Still works on note 7 amazing.

Needs to control GPS! I'm sending 4 or 5 crash reports daily, but still no update. Also, needs ability to control notification (incoming text) volume. Would also like to turn off chime when I plug in the charger.

Very useful app. Unfortunately no longer supported since 2012.

I have had this app for years and it is amazing bit of a learning curve for most but I can't have a phone without it.

Use to be able to apply a profile based on lack of a particular location and now it no longer works.

If I am deciding whether or not to buy I need to know if it will accurately and reliably change profiles. This version is limited to 1 profile. There should be a trial period. Guess I won't be buying this app.

Used to be a good app, but hasn't been updated since before KitKat and won't autostart. Don't waste your money on the paid version!

This app work fine until now but no more on Lollipop. If you can fix this I thank you so much.

Worked great to disable my lock screen while using my GPS app. But once I added another profile to enable silent mode during a certain time, totally stopped working. Reinstalled and same thing - all profiles totally stop working after adding a time-based profile

Cant create a location based rule. App is not intuitive and don't work

Very easy to create rules and actions and nice to see immediately if condition is met. Screen timeout of 0s only fails now after Android 4.2 upgrade.

Simple, compact. Just what I was looking for.

Just set up 1 profile to keep my screen on while charging, please no dim!! So big test to see if it works! Thank you in advance. Lots of good looking options. I may end up purchasing it if I want more automated things. :)

There have no other app avail on market like this for profile setting.

Great in every way except that the notification icon is ugly. Please let us hide it. I would buy the pro version if it was cheaper.

I downloaded Tasker to try to do one simple thing--turn on auto sync whilst the device was charging. It took an hour of confused frustration to realize that I wasn't going to be able to do it. Then I downloaded this app. It only took three minutes to figure out how to do the same thing. And the interface is infinitely more intuitive than Tasker's. This app also supports both Ice Cream Sandwich and CyanogenMod, something that Tasker does not seem to do.

I installed this almost straight away because I missed the multiple profiles I had on my old nokia. This app does all that and more. I have the widget on my home screen, it's two presses to change profile, very easy, very quick. In the 1.5 years I've been using this app I've only noticed it screw up twice. Would get the full 5 stars and also my money for the 'full' version if it could control the text message tone on my Desire HD. It can control notification tones, so I have to set my text message tone to be the same as all other notifications in order to have this app control it. I would happily pay for the full version if they added this feature. (or, release the source code and I'll add it myself)

A pretty good app for automatically controlling phone settings. Rather limited in the free version (only one active rule), but it's enough to toggle my typical work settings on/off.

I'm using this app to basically set the screen timeout, turn WiFi on/off, set volume levels for a few profiles I have set up. I use the one rule allowed in the Lite version to switch to a certain profile based on the time of day. All other profiles I switch manually. Nothing exotic. It is on a Samsung S3. I have heard of issues with this and ICS, but I haven't had any problems that I believe could be laid at the feet of this app. App is easy to use - the learning curve is not steep. I would seriously consider paying for the full version, but I would like to see some evidence of continued support. The fact that there has been no update since January and the reports of no response from the developer are disturbing.

I could not get setting profile to trigger a profile when a new SMS came in on the Samsung Galaxy S3 (ICS - 4.0.4). Settings are identical to what was set on the Samsung Galaxy S1. Ended up uninstalling since I assume the issue is with ICS.

I liked the application at first and t therefore bought the full version. After i upgrade i started seeing wrong behavior. For example when i detached the phone from the dock, it sometimes stayed in the docked profile. I sent an email to support and got no response. Very annoying. I wish i hadn't paid for the full version.

BUT, The app exits on it's own very often, causing the profiles I created to exit and not work properly! 3 out of 5 for this :-(

Please add the possibility to change the visual order of profiles.

I can just go to my homescreen and press a button and bam WiFi is off and its in silent(school). Love it!

Worked great on my Nexus 4, used it for car bluetooth profile . Just upgraded to N5 and many of the controls no longer work.

Used to rely on going in and out of silent mode while I sleep. Vibrates when it changes profiles, annoying but likely a GS3 thing. Doesn't consistently change profiles on scheduled times.

Does just what i needed! automatically disables the screen pattern lock and locks screen orientation once i start my nav app, WAZE. I dont like driving with my screen left on so this lets me turn screen off and on and interact via voice commands without needing to look at the screen etc. while driving. Plus many more available conditions/actions!
