ProAudio Tools - Free, No Ads for Android
Like Meter-Analyzer combo, but no setting for db weighting, no freq peak indicator -- I would pay for these features!
Not bad! Good work guys!
I like this app because I can learn the keys.
Works perfect!!
MoNey MaDe InC.
Works perfectly for me
It works fine, in both my LG phones, but as anything in life there is compromises that you need to do in order to make it work more to your needs. Definitely the mike calibration is a must, and that is a problem for the ones who do not own a SPL meter, and that is why in the first place we get it, (if I have one I do not need the app)...I know is really hard given the amount of different devices, and manufacturers, versions, etc...but it will be good to have a list of calibrations for different devices, at least the more popular ones...or find or way of self calibrating it while installing it...for now it gives you a rough idea of what kind of noise are you exposed, and if you are bothering or not your neighbors....I own two LG phones, and it will be good to have the calibration... Anyway thanks...
Is this some kind of joke? Why would anyone use a linear scale for frequency plot in real time AUDIO measurements? I find this app an uneless gadget, not real world software tool.
There is no way to access settings on tablet. Designed for phones.
It's basic, but it does exactly what I wanted it for.
I use it during soundcheck and paired it with a measurement mic.
Ok, it seems it may need to be calibrated against a professional SPL metre, accuracy of the apps readings will vary depending on your device (I downloaded this on both a galaxy S3 and a Sony erricson, they differed by 5 - 10dB), though it seems to be fairly accurate. Without changing any settings it logged 35 - 45 from a whisper at 3 feet away in a standard bedroom. This should be suitable enough for my SPL Assignment, though I wouldn't trust it for professional work. Thank you very much FranJam!
Excellent
Works perfect!!
Don't waste your time downloading
Great sound level meter! Very accurate!
Awesome
No logging. Screen tap is a sound?
Works perfect!!
Seems to work pretty well and easy to use.
Not bad! Although I'm not sure why this app is called ProAudio Tools when it only had one tool. A decibel meter. You should add at least one more tool to justify the plural... Just saying. Good work on the gui though!
A good app for Audio Engineer
Put frequency meter as well and I give you 5
Great app very useful
Put frequency meter as well and I give you 5

Also of course, contrary to the person below, it's sound pressure not frequency that should be logarithmic. Which this app does. Also it's free so get over it.
