Metro name iD

Dev team please help!! I pay for this service $2.00 per month and get nothing in return for it. The block feature does not work at all. I have an unlocked ASUS ZenFone 2 ZE551ML phone. If the service doesn't work for unlocked devices this should be made clear upfront. I have a ton of numbers on my block list and not one of the calls from those numbers is blocked at all. Thanks for your support. If this worked then I would give it a 5 star rating.

Too many telemarketer calls coming through even though I have the settings to block scam calls. What's the point of paying for this feature when unknown numbers, scam blockers, robocallers can call me? I have contacted Metropcs numerous times in the past month. It is only getting worse. And why are the good reviews displayed? How typical and misleading.

I've been a customer of Metro PCS for 6 years. A bought this app 5 years ago, and have been paying for it ever since. Metro Block It was great. I never had issues. Unwanted numbers were blocked and text messages. Its now Name ID. And this app is the worst. Every unknown number comes through, even after being blocked. Sometimes it even answers the phone for me. Bad move Metro PCS. This app is pointless. Like many recent reviewers have said, go back to Metro Block It!

"Unsatisfied" I've used this app ever since I became a metro customer and it works whenever it wants... I still get all kinda calls, voicemail, text, from people I've blocked... I've reset the app and upgraded the app, and called metro to fix the problem and yet still doesn't work... I'm putting out money for nothing... Do not get this app... Definitely don't let anyone from metro talk you into getting or keeping this app... It's a waste of money!!!

I absolutely LOVE this app!!! I have had calls and it was a local number but the person blocked their name so I went back & TOTALLY blocked them from calling me again. This app also tells you where they're calling from. However my trial ends tomorrow & unfortunately I will not pay for this app but it works GREAT!!!

Ok not good. The point in buying this app? if all it does block only numbers doesnt even block necessarily they still have the option of leaving a voicemail which is very annoying. They also have the option of sending text messages. I do not want your website because it gives me no option to give feedback opinions. I want you guys instead of giving us your website, upgrade your app to blocking unwanted calls and TEXT MESSAGES and also not being able to leave voicemails.Lets make it happen plz.

It was way better when it was called Metro Block-it. Now, almost every incoming call that has been blocked still comes through and doesn't get rejected until the second or third ring. When it was called Metro Block-it, it would be rejected immediately if you selected block on a particular number

It came installed on my phone and there was nothing to indicate it was not a free app. No information on how much it would cost to keep it working and no information to let you know where to go to get it. It just quit after the 7 days.

Don't know how good this will be, but it can only get better so I'm going to sign up now and because this is a business line and I have to answer all calls it will save lots of time being on the phone with a call that I didn't want In the first place. Time is money,

This app only sends unknown calls to voice mail. On my boyfriend's phone it works great, it actually doesn't allow unknown callers and all other block callers to leave a voice mail. The app on his phone totally block them. My phone already has a feature that rejects calls sending them to voicemail. This app serves me no purpose. Can you fix. And maybe my phone is not capable of blocking calls. I have the LG Stylo 2. And if that is the case, can you fix so it works for my phone? Please answer back

So the app worked for all of 3 months. And it was good while it lasted. Now it doesn't work . It asks me to upgrade although I'm still be charged ...try to upgrade and it processes as an error. Interesting how this is set to prevent scams and it is a scam

Im paying for the app and it doesnt work the calls I block still come through sometimes they even answer without me actually pressing answering button I have a brand new phone and its still doing it

It won't let me block texters. I have been getting an abundance of spam text messages asking me to click links. Also, some of my blocked numbers can still get through on occasion. I have the number blocked for a reason. In some cases, it will simply kick it straight to vm. Other times the whole call comes through.

It needs to go back to how it was in the beginning... You pay for calls and texts to be blocked, I loved this app in the past. Why doesn't it work on all phones? I don't want calls or texts from people that I don't want contacting me... Please fix, I love the app, just needs to be fixed...Then 5 stars..

It's crap it doesn't work. The person can still text you they just don't know you're not getting the message and the phone call still goes through it just goes to voicemail. What a waste of money

It works great. Except whenever my cable TV/internet service provider tech support calls me it blocks the numbers as "a reported telemarketer". Thats very inconvenient when you've been waiting for hours for tech support to call! If it wasn't for that I would give it 5 stars.

This hardly gives any info on who's calling. The same info they give you can be found out yourself. Very rarely will you even get a name. You may get state only where calls coming from. I will continue a bit longer but for most part this sucks. When you block number calls still go through. Sucks, sucks, sucks !!!

Every call that is not in my address book comes up as 0 for an Id. It did work a few months ago. I had metro rest my Id on their end. Uninstalled the update, wiping the cache and data to allowing all permissions... Useless!!! Tell-a-marketers are still get through.... I report every unwanted call. I am about to save me 2 dollars a month... Don't waist you Efforts

The text messages were included with this blocking feature. Its not completely blocked if I still get texts. Can't believe I'm paying $2 on something that doesn't involve text messages

Can't stand it. Apps get improved but this DIDN'T! Metro block it actually worked without messing with your phones functions, dropping calls all time. Allows the spammers, telemarketers, then says it was block whereas my phone continually rang when ut should've rang once maybe twice. Sometimes you need to leave things alone!

Sucks cause the stupid phone downloaded this without my knowledge. Now I can't get all the other apps to update. I wish that this was my phone & not metro PC's phone. So I could chews my own apps to download.

Absolutely useless garbage. Don't waste your money. This will manage to block one call a day if you're lucky. Doesn't matter how many options you change, uninstall and reinstall or call customer service. This App will never block anything from coming through.

Just got the name id so hoping will be good it did let me block a unwanted caller easily with one touch of a button and immediately blocked the number.. Can't beat it for only two bucks a month. Plus reports to you known scammers and telemarketers

Have to pay for the more expensive version with name look up for the app to work correctly. This is what I found out. So for every one complaining that calls are not getting blocked and still coming through and/or going to voicemail, unfortunately your going to have to upgrade and pay for the name look up feature in order for this app to block all your calls.

I originally loved the app I've been using it for every phone I've had with Metro... But, ever since it became Metro NameID it doesn't show anyone other than my actual contacts.. Scammers and telemarketer's are still able to get through no matter how many times I've blocked them they get through or my phone auto answers not cool... I thought I was paying to block them scammers?! If not I'm going back to a free app and saving the extra $$$

I'm feeling like I'm waisting my money with you guys..your not blocking any one other than my personal contact..wtf fix please or ill have to cancel you guys

I love it! It takes care of everything. I no longer have to worry about unknown callers, spam or debt collectors calling for other people who had the number before me... It's perfect and worth the extra few dollars a month to have the service!

Warning: Holds you hostage if subscription lapses. No contact or setting changes can me made unless you pay to resubscribe. Blocks Google support calls, can't be shut off; always active even after subscription runs out. Came with this device so it cannot be uninstalled (here anyhow). Pushed by Metro PCS, but they couldn't provide any help either, except to offer to remove it at a store. If the company actually provided good support, I would not be here writing. No prominent contact methods outside of the device itself is not good public support, be it for present or for former users, support should be easy to contact. Dumb, or dirty? You decide.

I missed an important call from my child's pediatrician because it was blocked by this app and marked at a robo call from a telemarketer. I had called the after hrs line regarding an urgent matter for my 3 month old daughter and was expecting the call back from the advice nurse and that call was automatically blocked.

NEVER! Pay for something that is free or you are already paying for! This third party scumbags are charging you for a service that is free from your loan source when you have college debt!!!! Don't fall for this scam Alert!!

It was working great but then it said i need it to up grade and i did and after that it wouldn't wort at all. I called it in to Metro they couldn't fix it. Yet they keep charging me for it!

Everytime someone call the ID doesn't work, to where I feel it a problem for someone like me! I need it to work everytime!

The app automatically blocked a phone # that I don't want blocked, and I don't seem to be able to cancel that action. Can you tell me how? If so, I can then give you a higher rating.

Not worth $1 a month. Why replace a great app, Metro Block-it, with this piece of garbage. Not only is it difficult to use, it rarely does what it is supposed to do: block unwanted calls!

I can't block calls!!!! It Sends the calls to my voice-mail instead of hanging up.... How is that blocking? And for $2 extra and it's not blocking calls.

The app is paid for through my carrier account and I varieties that it is currently up to date yet when I try to use the app it requests that I pay for the upgrade. When I try to pay for the upgrade through the app it says it is unable to process. Please follow up, thank you.
