Tap And Drill Chart Calculator

Very simple, easy to read charts at the touch of a button. Now I don't have to find my reading glasses to try to read the tiny paper chart behind my workbench. Thank you for this app!

Really well executed app. Easy to use and informative on the secondary form. Just tap a thread size and a breakdown of thread% and drill size comes up.

The metric drill sizes are incorrect, they should be the diameter minus the pitch ie M4 x 0.7 should have a 3.3mm drill

Would be great if it could be stored to the SD card.

Simple, free, no ads, easy to read, 0 learning curve, its a digital chart in your phone that you won't lose or destroy (well, most of us wont)

Screenshots show two different types of screens, but app only has first and second screen is non-existent. UPDATE: Developer responded with explanation.

Won't get 5 stars till it says cut or form tap. Can be misleading

It's ok but it's missing a few sizes, 12x1.5 for example.

Quick reference

Silly obvious error on metric chart. Optimal hole shown in inches (") should be millimetres (mm). 1.6mm does have an optimal hole of 1.259" that's one and a quarter inches. Also no exit or close button?

I do not understand what the percentage means and metric drill sizes are incorrect - does not use best fitting size but almost always rounded to 0.5mm

Like what you did with the chart but once open it will not close.

No review of permissions prior to download. Re: if there is no danger to user then, there is no danger in being up front about the permissions prior to down load. If lazyness is the problem then lazyness might be built into the app. Just make preview available prior to download and i willmake my choice then.
