First off the app is very slow to begin with. Second, most of the screens simply show as loading.

Loading all the time and difficult to use. The home page view is fine but don't dare go to another page, it just loads and loads and loads......

Tells me I have no accounts to view. Directs me to log in on the website. Pointless.

Other than the overview page the app is useless. When you click to contributions or investments the page doesn't load. As a benefits administrator for my company, there's no way I would suggest this app to my employees. Total waste of time.

Piece of crap. Slow as molasses, constantly gets hung up and most times I can't even get the thing to complete a logoff.

The new app tells me where I am and where I am going. Easy to make changes and understand the impact on my future retirement. It great to see all of my retirement assets in one tool. Thanks Principal.

Can't log in, won't go past sign in. It just gets stuck loading forever. Useless.....

It stop letting me log in and says i need to go main site. If you can't offer proper security with your app and we need to go to the web page then you have failed. Fix please so i can log in again. No login=lazy it department. Fix please.

I don't know what is the problem with this app. Even if I'm 100% sure I'm entering the Wright username and the right pw. Stl won't let me go thru I bet a jaker it'll let him go in in no time

Poor written App. Must have been developed by cheap outsourcing company. Slow, every single step have to wait, unintuitive user interface

Hello Principal, have you actually tested this app? I think it might be time to actually fix this app. You've been getting nothing but 1s and 2s for a year. Can you take some of the money you have made on all of our 100s of thousands and millions in investments and spend a few $ on an IT department that can make a mobile app work? You do want to keep us as customers right? Or should we move our thousands/millions to maybe Vanguard or Fidelity or... ? Let us know.

Worked great on galaxy tab A until upgrading to android 7.1.1. , when most windows stopped appearing. Uninstalled until I see new version.

Unfortunately, the extremely negative reviews were true. While I think highly of Principal as a company, this app is terrible: on the first two attempts to use it it worked fine to show my account information then totally froze my phone when I tried to go back one page. I will try the mobile website rather than use this app.

Better off using the mobile website, this app is quite slow and often gets stuck loading when navigating back through screens.

Cannot login to my personal Principal account. Says my credentials don't match, but I know for sure they do.

The buttons don't work half the time, it locks you out way too often, browsing from page to page in the app almost always fails, literally the worst financial app ever used....Many better alternatives out there

Asks me for my password every time. Crashes when I click on anything. This app is very minor league. Embarrassing, actually.

Glitchy, and unresponsive. And takes forever to load or I have to close out the app just load it again. Awful

This app is practically inoperable, and the UI is poorly designed.

Hard to log on to site sometimes, very slow.

All I get is an overview of my retirement account. Can't move and do anything on this site.

Have tried Uninstalling and re-installing several times and get nothing but a blank white screen.

This latest version is far worse than the previous one. You can never go back to Overview page after navigating away from it. It keeps rendering without doing anything. I can't believe Principal developers letting this go for so long without fixing it. I never had any problem with the previous versions.

Every single time I try to log in it asks me to confirm with my security question. EVERY SINGLE TIME! It didn't used to do that. I've been locked out of my account twice now because I don't remember the answer to that same damn question. It doesn't even switch to any other security question. The app sucks. It didn't used to before the new layout was rolled out.

This is the worst financial app among all those I use. Especially surprising since Principal is a large company. A real joke. The full website is pretty good. They must not have any app developers.

Today it will not logout, just a screen that does not respond to my input. Not keeping this junk app on my phone any longer. When I logout, it does NOT logout. Wonder what security issues are being overlooked by Principle.

This is nothing but an example of form following functions looks nice but you can't check multiple accounts without backing all the way out. Once again principle has taken something that works like their old web site and trashed it! Update 9/1 now the app freezes all the time. Not sure what's worse the app or the fact principle will not fix it!

I hate giving bad reviews, but this app is hit or miss. Can't ever look at contributions, or change investments. It takes awhile to load at times, and other times, it never does load. A fastlook would also be a great idea, if it ever starts working properly.

Still poor execution and unstable. Still currently won't stop "loading". Ok, still sucks. Barely functional. Crashes or freezes at the drop of a hat. Aside from my account balance the 2 other most common bits of info I get are "Loading" or "Error loading".

This is a horrible app and with every update it gets worse. How can a huge company not hire someone to develop an app that works properly.

Very nice when you can finally log on. Too slow to be useful. Sometimes can't log off or takes longer than I care to wait. Principal has known about problems for months and has done nothing about it.

This is the first ever rating I've gives an app so that tells you how disappointing it is. It doesn't work! Once I log in and go an account, the option to switch to another account doesn't work. I also was just in it again and tried to go options just to log out and the app wouldn't respond to me hitting the menu button. For this type of company the app is horrible!!!

Pages take ages to load. Slow, cumbersome. Menu doesn't work properly. Look and feel is really good though.

Some days logging in is impossible. I reset my password and then after logging out I cant log back in again

Worst app I've ever tried. Still waiting for this piece of crap to logout and never did get to see any of my account information.
