The My School Holidays Widget allows you to choose a specific school and place a widget on the home screen showing a countdown to the next school holiday.
We are currently working our way around the globe collecting school holiday date so if you can see it on http://myschoolholidays.com you'll be able to use the MSH Widget.
The MSH Widget takes up a 4x1 space on any screen.
How to use:
Step 1) Download App here.
Step 2) Launch App on your Android device.
Step 3) Type in your School Name and select it from list then press save.
Step 4) Press and hold your finger on your desktop, select Widgets.
Step 5) Select My School Holidays from the list of available widgets and click OK.
Step 6) Place the Widget wherever you want on your screen.
Step 7) The widget auto updates from MySchoolHolidays.com so you can sit back and watch the countdown to the holidays!
You can even tap the widget to go to the My School Holidays website and see all the holidays for the year.
Help Us, Help You:
With update 1.4 My School Holidays Widget now has the ability for users to send feedback directly to us the developers.
Feedback will contain basic debug information and allow us to contact you directly via email should you experience any problems with the widget.
We aim to respond to feedback within 48 hours and are dedicated to resolving any and all issues you may be experiencing.
You can even send us feedback with suggestions on how to improve our app, we take pride in listening to our users and will help you out wherever we can.
We will NEVER release any of the information gathered through feedback to third parties.
To send us feedback simply press the ? icon when you open the app and follow the on screen instructions. Alternatively you can email us directly at android@primaryt.co.uk

This is a brilliant app when it's working don't know what's happened to it but it's only started going wrong in the last couple of weeks for me been using it for a couple of years now and it's free. It's a shame lots of people are giving it a neg feedback but i can understand that and hopefully the guys that made it will keep going and update it soon. To be honest i would pay for this app thats how good i think it is there's nothing like it out there at the moment so i will be patient for a while longer and stick by it. Us people don't realize how much work goes into something like this so come on M.S.H sort it out please really missing the app. Don't normally review apps so that telling you how good i think it is.

Eventually found my kids school by searching for the town, didnt work searching by school name. Opened widget & always asks for school name again even though I saved it. Only option available then is to exit widget...so at the moment it doesnt actually work at all.

It dont work. All it does is have me put the name of my school, and it goes back to the begining. Why is it doing this, and not show me my schools holidays ?

I downloaded this application and it counted down to the start of term perfectly but now it doesn't seem to count down to the holidays I have un installed and reinstall but stuck at the start of term. Shame

But school name search really picky about what you type in and the date font is to large to fit when the date numerals are all wider.
