priceBAM

priceBAM is a grocery price comparison app that helps you save money on your grocery store visits. Join a community of shoppers who help each other by contributing pricing data, item information, and store information.

With the priceBAM app, you can also:
• View recently submitted prices by community members for various grocery items.
• Scan barcodes with a built-in barcode scanner (you can also use the ZXing barcode scanner) to quickly determine recent prices for the scanned item.
• View item information - PLU/barcode numbers, images, GMO status, sizing information, and more!
• If you do not see your grocery item, then you can help contribute by adding item information.
• View store information - recent prices for the store, address, phone numbers.
• Locate stores close to your current location.
• View map of stores near you using the built-in Google Maps integration.

Notes
• priceBAM is a work in progress. You will not find every grocery store in the United States in our database. You will not find every item in our database. You also won't find prices for all items in your area. However, we invite you to contribute and share information on any missing stores, items, and prices!
• Barcode scanner requires your device to have a built-in rear camera.
• Barcode scanner functionality is diminished if your device does not have an autofocus camera.
• priceBAM has been optimized for tablets with a screen size of approximately 8 inches and above

• Camera - required for the barcode scanner
• Location - required to locate grocery stores closest to you
• Storage - required for Google Maps integration
