About ICD-10 Doc Guide

Developed by the leading ICD-10 educator in the United States, the Precyse University ICD-10 Doc Guide app allows the user to enter the name of a condition or disease and receive the documentation tips and strategies to document the medical record with the specificity required for ICD-10 as well as improved documentation in ICD-9. This app is perfect for physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, clinical documentation improvement specialists, and other clinicians who need a tool to quickly retrieve information on how to document the most common diseases and conditions. When you're looking up diagnoses, it's not user friendly. For example, kidney failure is filed under either A or C, acute or chronic. MI is also found under acute, not myocardial or infarction. I believe they should have consulted MD/NP/CDS for the creation of this app.

This app has sooooo much potential if the search box would be more comprehensive. For example, inguinal hernia, if I type inguinal...I get nothing g. If I type hernia I get more info. Please fix asap. This app can be so great!!!

Cannot pull up even simple Dx like "cyst" or "PID". This is useless to a practitioner unless I'm missing something.

Complete waste of time!

Put in 2 of the most common dx that I use and came up with blank in the search box. Maybe it still needs some work.

Went through 20 diagnostic statements and gave up when 2 were the only ones found

Very useful tool in concept. We recommended it to all our physicians. UNFORTUNATELY IT DOESN'T WORK AT ALL. We have a lot of unhappy physicians.
