Prayer.Town is an online community of Christians that can both post prayer requests and also pray for others in need.


"I have always known that part of God’s plan for me was to help others, I just wasn't sure how yet."

That is all I have wanted, a way to help others, but how? I came up with the idea for this website a few years ago while I was in college and I made what we could call Prayer.Town version 1.0 (although it had no name). At the time, I didn't think much of it and didn't know how I could market and promote the website, so I simply abandoned it. Since then, this idea has continually popped back into my head and I finally decided to really go after it. I remade this website & app from scratch, not even ever looking at the first version I made, however I still kept the all same principles as my original thought.

- Post prayer requests within your church, allowing people to see all the needs and requests within their church.
- Protect the anominity of our community. The author of all prayer requests are always protected and never showed. Specify who the prayer request is for with the anominity of your choice. (I.e. you can be as specific or as vague as you want with who the prayer request is for).
- Show how many times people have prayed for their request. Nothing is more encouraging and powering than knowing and seeing how many people are praying.

I continue to take breaks while building this website because I am struggling with time management between building this website, working full time, being a great husband :), and seeing my family and friends. At the same time, I pray for God to continue to give me the encouragement to finish building this app and to continue to build new features so that my fellow Christians may get the most out of this, along with the least amount of question and hesitation.
