Porsche GTS Routes for Android
Crashes a bunch, won't keep the screen on. Fairly unreliable. When app crashes, have to re-search for the route I'm trying to follow.
The app is good but the main thing is missing: turn by turn direction once on the route. You have turn by turn to go to the start point or to the finish point via Google Maps, but nothing for the route itself. What a shame. You could at least prevent the mobile from going black...
Keeps saying no connection. Cluster map crashes.
This app is great for finding roads, but it doesn't provide route guidance, except to the start point of your drive. The only way to use it is to do your homework. Find a route on the app, then duplicate it in Google Maps and save that so you can use it on the road.
Shame it won't connect to the server even when I have an internet connection. It looked like an immensely fun app
Great app and totally recommended. I use it for motorcycle and car routes! It's a blast!
Also, please provide gps guidance to get to/on the route and while driving the route.
Same issues as everyone else.
Worked like a charm few months back, "no connection to server". Please fixxxxx.
Can I send a route to my cars PCM, now that would make this app great.
Great idea. And a hair from being great. The show-stopping problem is that you cannot zoom in, or in any other way, get enough detail to actually find and drive the routes. The only thing you can locate is where the route owner clicked "Start" to record the route. Make the route map zoomable and it will work. But as is, it's just a useless tease.

The main problem with this app is that once on the route you cannot follow it on the phone since the GPS refreshes your position very sparingly, rendering it useless. So you either have to memorize the route beforehand or constantly get flummoxed at missing turns. Maybe this is only Android-specific, I don't know. Regardless, in the end it becomes very frustrating and takes away vastly from the driving pleasure and immersion. Porsche: find a way to Integrate these great routes into PCM!

I will try this
This app continually asks for GPS after closing it. I like the app and will probably download it again but will keep it uninstalled regularly.
I'd give it five stars but the thing that is bugging me is that you cannot change the distance measurement from kilometers to miles. Once that's fixed I'll gladly give it a five.
The app sounds really cool but I keep getting an error message and I can't view routes.
Exacly what I wanted... great to find driving roads when moving countries
Says no service when I have service.
Keeps saying no connection. Cluster map crashes.
This app has the potential to be really cool, but as it sits now, it won't let me connect to the server or really anything else. I hope that if it catches on and more people show an interest in it then maybe they will fix all the bugs.
I know its not the intended purpose but I use this app to try and get higher scores than my friends while driving
There are two things I wish Porsche added, they need to add the option to change kilometers to miles and they need to add a point a to point b type directions section. With that you could pick the route with the most gets points. With those two features it could become the driving enthusiast's GPS app.
Nice App ... Well Done!

The app DOES show routes that have been submitted and reviewed. However, it completely lacks any ability to zoom in or out on the map. This applies both to the live map of your current location, and the map of routes that have been found. If you want to zoom out to see if a route is convenient for your travel plan, then too bad - you can't zoom out to see any of the better-known cities near it, or where it is in relation to you (other than just the distance, without any indicated direction). This is a ridiculously easy feature to include, so it's amazing that they have not included it.
