Box8 - Food Delivery

This is mediocre at best. There is no variety and the food options available are bland and boring. Step up your game Box8, can't keep giving mediocre services forever. Bring in some variety. On the plus side your food tastes kind of good I guess and you give good deals (at least initially). I'm trying to be very generous when I say that. You market yourselves as a cheap and affordable option over others while not compromising on quality, well let me tell you have failed at it and this seems to be a general consensus. Hope this review helps you.

I love the taste but you guys should work on quantity atleast on the basic rice combos to get more frequency of orders at least from my end. After spending rs156 including tax we should not feel hunger immediately after finishing it. Rest all is good.

The quality of their food is very bad.. I'm suffering from serious stomach infection after having their food.. plz thing twice before ordering food from box 8. edit: So I recieved a call from box 8 today assuring the improvement in quality of food. I'll post a review again if there is any improvement in the hygiene.

Recent price increase doesn't make food worth the price. You guys are charging as much as restaurants do due to which it is better to eat food in restaurant only or order from small dabbawalas. Charging of service tax after supposably vat inclusive final price is another big turnoff. Ordering for from box8 has lost its meaning to me.

Loved the food. Quantity is also good.but the price which has set by u is equivalent to the restaurant. If U can manage to cut down price, and some basic dishes like Rice & Roti's need to be in the menu. Trust me, if u will work on this, people will.nwver open any other app to order food. At least me.

The price is too high. They show the item price with tax included but at the time of checkout they will add more 10% service charge. As per govt rule service charge should be on wish of the customer if they want to pay. Also why do you include service charge when it is a home delivery thing. Service Charge should be paid by customers when they dining out in a restaurant not on the home deliveries. I want all the customers to be aware of it. And this food start ups should stop their monopoly.

Last week order- late delivery ( 2hrs), this week burnt food !!! Customer care just says we will look into it and keeps the call. I doubt thier quality standards now Update as on 12/04/2017 Again i ordered based on thier call and commitment that food will be good. But this time, i had ordered wrap, and just to update the bread was half baked this time . ( last time over baked and burnt and this time its half baked- so its averaged!!!) I think they really need a quality audit to be done.

They delivered chicken peices in paneer salad in Bangalore electronic city. Pathetic ignorant people who prepare food for box8. Will never order ever again from such ignorant food chain.

Box8 has given me the worst experience till date. The delivery executive threatened to come inside my house and hit me with his chappal because his vehicle was towed from infront of my house which is no parking zone. I've ordered from various application from all over the world and this is by far the worst service ever. You people should learn from FreshMenu how service is done. Uninstalling the app.

I invited 2 of my friends to the app and even after their first delivery I haven't received my gift card . Food was good the first time but delivery takes forever. Only dessert wasn't upto the mark. Tasted stale so had to throw it away.

Been using it for some time. But the way the last order was delivered and the way customer service reacted to that issue opened my eyes to the fact that this is not a customer centric entity. The customer service folk do not even have common business sense and zero English language skills. In light of all this down voting the app

I like the food and service, but found dead ants in my lemonade. Above all, your food has to be hygeinic. Such a shame. 3 stars for good past experience, but won't be ordering from you again.

Invite code does not work.Invited two of my friends. When they entered code it said you are not eligible for this code. Dint get Cashback. Liars.

I'm unsubscribed still the app keeps sending​ me SPAM offers and payments page is not user friendly. I clicked back by mistake once and had to pay more..wasted my mobikwik super cash discount..

Pathetic food quality.. very less quantity and highly expensive. Ordered food of 450 for 2 people and none got their stomach full. Food quality below average. Only good part was quick delivery.

Over priced food and fucked up quality. The only thing that is good about box 8 is that they deliver in night. The quantity and quality of the food they serve is not worth the price they are charging. Worst of all, their coupon system is misleading. They will tempt you with "great cash back offers" but when u actually want to use the cash back money, they will show you the hidden terms and conditions. Trust me, don't waste your money on this. Go with any other app, you will atleast get something worth what you paid for.

So they acknowledged my last complained and it seems resolved now. Atleast didn't faced any problem in last order. Good gestures....!!!

I would have given a 4 but your app does not support payment through Maestro cards.. and most of the times, even normal card payment are not processed and I have to use other wallets to do the payment. This is quite disappointing.

Sometimes few things get out of stock, which is disappointing. But, the taste and quality Box8 provides is awesome. The app is user friendly and very easy to use.

For maximum times, the app would show pop up saying 'due to unfavourable condition the order should be of more than ₹ 300.' like what? Your store can only serve bulk or high amount orders?? Understand the efforts we put in menu selection and everything and at the end you dont allow us to place the order simply because its less than ₹ 300.. wow!! We understand how a business runs but this will never help customers to gain confidence over you since there will be no surety that their order will b taken.

I have ordered product 5 times from that 2 times that is 1st and 4th order it is deliverd and now the local store denies for delivery though it shows in app that my residence area is covered for home delivery. Pathetic service and during peak hours and weekend and public holidays generally services denied by store.

I'm really in love with Box8. The app is easy to use and precise. The quality and quantity of food is honestly satisfying, which is what surprised me. You've also priced your items right. The delivery is quick. And the coupons actually work. What else can I say! Box8 keeps pulling me back to it. Cheers.

Order placed, money taken but order not delivered. Customer care is not interested in talking. Worst service.

Most of the times the deal and coupons dont work. U have to apply coupon by manually entering it. No list is there yo choose coupons as with other apps.

Just love Box8. Meal boxes are so tempting and good thing is its so healthy too. Whatever have been tried by now have always been yummy and fulfilling. Quality+Quantity+Delivery time+Courtesy of delivery staff-- Stars to all of them. Love u box8

I uninstalled it long back. Since i keep getting offers so had to write this. Monotonous taste. And always over priced.

The worst app I have ever seen. No forgot password received, no sms received for verifying the mobile. More than an hour I did wait but not able to place my first order.

Please stop compulsory charging service charge... Restaurant are no more permitted to charge it but rather its upto the discretion of customers.. Delivery charges are different thing but service charges are not

App is too slow for Tablets. Also you have ridiculously high "minimum amount" deals

This app does not allow u ti login again with same phone number once you log out, give error saying phone number already in use,even using facebook or gmail account

If you don't want to give discounts then stop showing your code, " APPFREE" it's not working at all, and your fake message already applied coupen

fiery paneer sandwich was good but paneer tikka sandwich which included paneer was burnt or maybe my tastebuds do not accept tikka taste. Overall good experience.

Quantity is awesome...quality is okay..i mean not great but not bad even...but one complaint i selected dal makhani in all in one meal and got dilli chole..so little disappointed with dat..but chole was also good..so its fine bt rember this for next time...all n all, good service, so thums up

Some time before you increased prices of all your food items by advertising it as "including taxes" and now with the same price tag you have added more taxes-- good way of looting people.

The app is very well made. Very east to place order. The interface is very good looking. Excellent list of options for payment. I used Paytm and the entire experience was just awesome. The food was also great.

Malware in the APP. DO NOT INSTALL. I got malware alert from my AV app!!!
