Polaroid XS100i Remote

The damn thing won't connect to the camera. It sees it and my phone can connect to it outside the app but the app itself is junk. Can you update this thing so i can use my damn camera i just bought?

Refuses to connect with Wi-Fi on my Sony Xperia X. Have tried all combinations of start up, ie, WiFi on then starting app, or app on then connecting WiFi but to no avail. It really is a let down, & a frustrating one at that. Very poor!

Isn't syncing with a WiFi network. Bad interface.

The app was decent enough with an older version of Android, but it doesn't work with 6 and up. C'mon guys, update the apps!

Wasted an hour on the phone with customer service. It doesn't work.

The WiFi does not stay connected for more than 6 seconds (a rather generous estimate). It's unimpressive as far as connectivity is concerned. Needs more work.

This app and the file viewer works better than the iON Camera App with the Air Pro Lite WiFi and the iON Camocam.

Good video quality and features, Bad WiFi connection, can't stay connected for more than 4 seconds.

WiFi doesn't work properly my nexus 5 can't connect to remote. Cheapest Chinese brands software better than this.

The app needs to be updated to support samaung note 4

When I try to connect to the wifi it restarts my phone. Then sometimes It might connect then it stops and says product not supported. How am I supposed to check my settings or frame my shot? Useless App!

The file app connected right away, but not this one, Update; now Connects to 2012 Nexus 7, Samsung Gs4 zoom. & even my Nexus 6, Not horrible, when it works, not great either...

PLEASE can you add the option to format the memory card. When out and about this seems to be the only option not available from within the software and if you encounter a problem and need to reset the card you can't. Big thanks if you can sort :-)

The application has tons of bugs only works went it wants ugly UI too. Bought the XS100i not knowing what I was getting my self into. Don't get me wrong the video quality of the Action Cam is great but the WiFi feature is useless. Polaroid has to sort this problems out if they really want to impact the Action Cam Market. Hopefully soon!!!

Polaroid is a big name in the past. Now you are expanding to new product line. But you are follower not the leader. I couldn't understand why you didn't fix the bug of your app. Why do you just let people keep complaining? I pay more for wi-fi but the app is very lousy. Your camera is good and I like it except problem of auto rotatiom. If the app is fixed, I can give you more stars.

I can connect to the camera just fine via the wifi or my nexus 5 but the app insists on using a wifi wizard that constantly says cannot connect. If you still sell the camera you should commit to making sure the app still works too. It's a poor attempt

Can we get some updates to this app? The connection is fine and the settings and status are visible but the video always fails to start. It will work the first time of the day but never after that, tried on 4 separate devices; moto x, Samsung s3, iPhone 4 and 6. I have sent in a few fail (crash) reports. Just clean up the software and make it simply work.

"not support this model" app also keeps on closing. save your money and get a gopro. this product is frustrating to use. app is pretty much useless if i cant get it to work.

The camera acts as a hot spot, with a DHCP server. When you set up the wifi connection use the Android system wifi setting to connect to the camera first before launching the app. DO NOT use the app's wizard otherwise the app'd wipe off the connected wifi setting in the phone, such as your home. You would have to redo your home wifi setup in your phone, typing password etc. It was less a problem when you are outside without other wifi. Once the wifi connect was made the app worked basically. but not slick. I could control the camera. I had to read the manual thoroughly. It also had to hard reset the camera a few times.

Buggy flawed program. Difficult to use. Non intuitive interface. Ie. The change network connection button does nothing. Streaming falls 25 seconds behind every minute it runs. Tried on my razrmaxx and nexus 10 running Kitkat

"PolaroidXS100I" network doesnt even show up in my list. Cant even connect to the network.

Crashes the moment I try to connect to the wifi. Same thing happens with the file application.

Bluetooth would be a much more responsive tech to use for this app and product to communicate. Wouldn't it? I get fully 30 sec of lag between shutter and screen, which means useless app. Maybe the devs can post the reason for not using Bluetooth? I may delete this app, because it is nothing more than a (fail) gimmick to show my friends.

No improvement with updated app. The LG Optimus L3 ii mobile connects to XS100i network but App times out on connection screen.

This part of the pair works. However not all resolutions are visible and can have significant lag when viewing in real time.
