Polaroid Print APP – ZIP

The printer is amazing!! Photos come out lovely. But the app never works!! I've had to uninstall it and reinstall it and close or down and reconnect the printer etc etc and nothing will work! It's driving me mad and it means I can't use my Christmas present from my boyfriend. :( suxh a shame as the printer itself is awesome!

It crashes every single time I try to print a photo. In the four months I've had it, I've only been able to print 4 pictures! I've uninstalled and re-installed. It just doesn't work. This printer was expensive, and now it's basically useless without the app.

First I really didn't read the manual at the beginning(lazy)bec. I was watching alot of people in youtube how to use it. So, I started using it and it works great but when I tried to use the collage part I noticed that I have BORDER in the MIDDLE of the picture. When you print it, it's still there. I tried everything, go back check the youtube if I am doing it wrong, or maybe I hit something. But nothing. I uninstall the apps and install it again. I don't like the border. How to take it out? I dunno.help

I had some trouble with the app at first. I printed a few photos, tried to print some older photos off of Google photos (which it was automatically having me get pictures from) and then the app started crashing. I was really disappointed. Then I tried to see if it would work with a random recent photo, and it did. This drew me to realize that the app works with photos that are also in your gallery. I have a Droid Maxx 2 and it has the gallery app and the Photos app. (Part one)

This app is one poor excuse of an app. If you guys at Polaroid want to stay in business I suggest you get you act together. It is updated and paired but as soon as you choose a photo the app closes.... 1 in 20 tries gets you a print. The constant crashing really gets old.

My husband just bought me this printer not but 30 minutes ago and I cannot get the app to work at all. I've tried everything and it just doesn't work. We'll be returning the device tomorrow which is a huge disappointment and inconvenience.

Got it as a gift. So exited. We printed few pics with just few crushes of the app. Thought it's because of unsupported format of the photo but just second day and it keeps crushing almost every time! The app is very poor, not offering any interesting modifications. Over all hugely disappointed!! Wouldn't expect from Polaroid. Fix it!

I'm disappointed. Same issues as most of the reviews. Printer works great but the app is terrible. It always force closes and rarely works. I've only been able to use my printer twice since Christmas because of the application. Any update on the application or a solution?

Will not print my photos anymore printed about 4 pics and it keeps saying idle or error busy. The pics were great but now it's just not even working anymore. Very upset and it's too late to return on amazon.

Wouldn't print my photos because of an error: "out of memory". What a waste of money. Fix your programming bugs please. I'm tempted to never buy Polaroid again and discourage any friends from purchasing them either.

I just received this for Xmas. At first I thought it wasn't going to work. I would try to print a photo, and it would say that it was printing then nothing would happen. I thought the app was bad and that the printer would not connect to my phone. Turns out, it will only print photos that you took with your phone. I was trying to print a saved photo that I got off Facebook. Good to know. For now, I am happy with this neat little gadget!

Even though it says it's compatible with Android phones, it does not. Got it for my kiddo's Christmas present & you can only imagine my disappointment & frustration when it does not work with her phone.

Wow. What a diaper load. Bought this printer from Amazon, but every photo I try to print either gives me "out of memory" error or "unsupported image file" and I'm unable to print ANYTHING. Whatever, Polaroid. Been nice knowing you.

This is a TERRIBLE app! I try to print a photo and the app just crashes continuously. For the amount of money I spent on this printer, I would expect them to have a sufficient application that doesn't just crash. I'm going to be returning this printer. There is no point in investing in a product you can never use.

Is not compatible with S7. It says it's busy and never prints. And if it's not busy, after submitting multiple requests to print, it says it's idle. I bought it today and will be returning it tomorrow for a refund. Total waste of time. I should have read the reviews before purchasing. Was excited for nothing, other than to be frustratingly disappointed!

Managed to print just one photo, and now the app just keeps crashing. How such company as Polaroid failed to deliver working product? This useless app renders printing on Zip printer impossible, I feel scammed. Look at reviews, people been complaining for months now on the same issues. I'll try to contact Amazon to get a refund, avoid this printer, there are better ones.

I'm not very happy with it. The printer conneted to my Sony xperia x compact but for some reason disconnected and it will not connect again. Not happy at all! In the guide there is nothing about troubleshooting. It was connected before the latest update.

This is the best thing ever! If you read the directions carefully then u got it. You can take it on the go and u don't need WiFi. It's the best thing for keeping photos. You run out of space on your device, print some photos and then delete them. It's worth the effort and frustration of getting it working.

It loads the wrong image from the wrong folder to print. What good is it to print your photos when app chooses at random for you what to print!? The device refuses to print via Bluetooth feed. Only the app. And the app isn't functioning. So....

Absolutely diabolical! Needs some MAJOR development. One small example; cannot change font type or colour and the extremely limited backgrounds are dark, so the black text cannot be seen! People have paid a lot for the device and the app is sincerely lacking. Investment, development and better editing tools seriously required.

Impossible to print anything, every time I select an image the app crashes. Sort it out. Cant believe this still hasn't been sorted. So pissed off. Can't use the printer without this god awful app. Can print a few photos every other month if I'm lucky. Sort this bloody app out!!!!!! Crashing every time I try to print a picture. Ridiculous.

I loved all the memories u can make with the printer. However the actual app doesn't do anything different to what i can do in photoshop or jut my phones picture editor. Im not very impressed with this

Really needs work on printing what you see. I find that I need to boost the colour on the picture for it to come out normal looking. I don't expect it to be the highest quality print but it really should print what you see or at least allow us to build profiles for spific phones. Or maybe make the drivers available to developers.

It does its job, but the user interface is clunky. Color editing - quite important - is absolutely pathetic and reminds me of 1990s windows 3.1 photo editing. I wish I could 'share to' the app rather than import from gallery. But, nevertheless, works and makes people happy.

Not sure what's happened to the app, but it now crashes each time I try to print. I hope this gets fixed as I now have an expensive brick and a load of paper, which I'd bought on offer that I can't now use and it's too late to get refunded. The printer is a great just get the app sorted so I can use it. As it hasn't been updated in over a year. Very disappointed!!

FIX: I STILL hate this app, but here's how to still use your printer. Turn on your bluetooth and wait until you see the list of devices available. Tap on "Polaroid ZIP" and select "Print". Note that I can only print one pic at a time. ♢♢♢♢♢♢♢♢♢ ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have a Note 5, android marshmallow OS and this app is terrible. 70% of the time it's telling me to check the power of the Zip when it's fully charged and it won't connect to the Zip on bluetooth at all. So, I basically have a brick 70% of the time.

"Update: now it doesn't work at all after updating to 7.1.1 This app needs a serious update." I love the Polaroid when I can get the app to work. After a few runs and I disconnect or turn off, the app starts to crash where it gives me the option to open or provide feedback. Also has a hard time connecting. It gets to the point that I remove and reinstall or move to my husband's phone where we are able to print then the same happens. Seems like the app may need some work as it's not very stable. Using a Pixel xl and Nexus 6p to print. Hope the app is updated for more stability.

Sometimes I forget how bad this app is... and then I open it again. The interface is not user friendly and kind of sad. I'm usually able to print just fine but on several occasions the app has stopped functioning. It is VERY frustrating when this happens. Thusfar I've been able to just put the Zip away when the app stops working and revisit it in a few weeks (or months) and the app will print again. I can't understand why Polaroid won't update the app. It needs help. The print quality is okay (the colors aren't true to the digital form but that was expected) however, I'm rating the app not the actual Zip.

Not sure about the printing because I haven't tried that yet. My biggest issue is with this app needing access to my contacts, mic, phone, sms, etc. This seems like they're just mining you for info so they can sell it advertisers. If you have android 6.0 or above you should make sure you're disabling this apps permissions to access parts of your phone you don't think it need access too. As far as I can tell, it needs access to the camera, files and blue tooth.

When it works, it's great. Was so excited and loved it. Then just two days ago it just keeps telling me that the app has stopped. Have tried clearing the cache and reinstalling app but to no avail.. Am THIS close to returning it! >:(

We bought this for work so we can give clients pics of their pets and I can't even use it. Apparently it's not compatible with my Note 4. Very disappointed I hope this issue gets resolved soon otherwise this is a waste for the business. I had high hopes.

I love my printer... When it works. This app crashes continuously and in different ways. Sometimes it won't even open. Right now it's saying every single picture on my phone is unsupported. Update didn't help. Restart didn't help. Really ridiculous for the amount of money!

Not enough memory error.message keeps displaying when I try to print, what's the point of having it wireless if I can't print from.my phone. Fix this app asap because your product is useless without it.

1. Bluetooth won't connect. 2. Unfortunately Polaroid Zip has stopped. 3. Unsupported image file. 4. This app isn't compatible with my Samsung Galaxy 2 Tablet. WTF?! For the amount of money spent on this lil printer you'd think it'd actually work!!

Bought this as an early birthday present for myself. Status light plays a never ending game of "idle and busy". Downloaded manual offers absolutely no information. I should not have to email company before calling. Way too much hassle for the amount of money spent. Will now read the app reviews before investing so much time and money. Not able to print any pictures. Getting a refund, this morning.

Keeps saying unfortunately polaroid zip has stopped working. All day I have gotten this message, I have Uninstalled and reinstalled turned my phone off and restarted and still won't do a thing, paid alot of $ for this, as of now it's just a paper weight, and since I opened it not sure I can return it. Not happy

Got it. I was so excited about being able to print tiny photos. It worked the first time for one photo, has not worked since. Everytime I try it says "unfortunately Polaroid zip has stopped working. I want my money back!

Worked great for one day, now it won't connect to the printer. Same as everyone else. I guess I'll use the workaround, but it would be nice if it just worked properly. Anybody reading these? Is there an answer?

After many hours calling T-Mobile, polaroid, Samsung, sending back to polaroid thinking the units Bluetooth was corrupt, I learned s7 and zip are not compatible. If someone knows better, please advise. I've done clear cache, install/uninstall/reset many times, paired, not connected.
