Indonesian Economic Policy Packages

Rationalization and improvement of regulations, bureaucratic practices and regulations’ enforceability of the entire horizon of national economic policy to improve national industry’s competitiveness, society’s purchasing power, export, investment and tourism.

Monitoring Task Forces, established with Presidential Instruction (Inpres) as the legal basis and instituted through the Decree of CMEA No. 80/2016, reflect accumulation of national capacities and resources, and ownership of economic policies representing all walks of society in renewing national economic programs.

To monitor/oversee the acceleration and efficacy of the implementation of the Packages, including the related existing ones.

Composed of Working Groups: policy campaign, compliance, regulatory impact, and damage control channel/the bottleneck, and the supporting unit.

Consists of: Head, Secretary, Issue Coordination, Management and Technical Assistance Teams.

To optimize the contribution of the Task Forces, cooperation with international bodies will be established, such as: (1) promotion of development policy of SISLOGNAS; (2) public private consultation to promote local (regency/province) exports; (3) external evaluation on Task Forces performances.
