About PointToPoint

PointToPoint is the easiest navigation app you will find on Android Market. It does not require data connection. Point To Point simply tells you how to go from point A to point B using the fastest, direct route.

PointToPoint is free and easy to use, with all required information displayed at all times. It only takes 2 clicks on a button to save your location and one click on a button to be guided to last or saved location.

Use Point To Pint to remember where you parked your car, location of your hotel, location of camping spot, when hiking, to be guided to pre given coordinates, to save your favorite diving spots, spots in nature and other outdoor activities... or any other location you would like to return to later.

PointToPoint enables you to:
- save current GPS location
- navigate from new location to saved location
- store multiple locations and manage stored locations
- enter location manually (coordinates)
- get data about current location, altitude, speed
- use compass to guide you to desired location
- get data about distance to desired GPS coordinates and estimated time of arrival (ETA Time)
- arrow points you to desired location
- use either metric (km, m, Km/h) of imperial (ft, miles, mph) system of units

Hold your device parallel to the ground as you would hold a compass in navigation mode. Please make sure your phone's GPS is turned on! GPS does not work well in inside buildings. PointToPoint is best used outdoors!

Sería muy útil tener un indicador de la precisión de la señal gps al momento de marcar un punto eso haría las mediciones de distancia más confiables

This app works but there are bugs/improves that needs attention: Longitude shows N/S instead of E/W; could have a map to pinpoint desired destination; add distance measurements in all units (both by navigation and by UI); these are just notes that need attention. Overall an ok app.

- An import-export for points to sd-card or phone memory could be awesome, like reading-writing to a simple CSV in a location it doesn't need root to access or could be accessible by connecting and browsing to a computer - Also, i notice that the coordinates are given in degrees-minutes-secondes but are saved as decimal degrees in the database. Could there be an option besides DMS to enter and show the coordinates as decimal degrees too? it's easier to copy paste from google maps. - When navigating to a saved point, the point's name should appear too - The compass rotation is not that smooth and it gives the impression that the direction changes; it is based only on GPS compass or it uses the internal geomagnetic one? - Additional info like bearing and GPS accuracy in meters could be useful sometimes. - When the app is accidentally closed, after opening it and and if there is no GPS signal, it clears the last location you were at and the compass doesn't move; maybe there could be a option that on startup it uses the last location as current location; like the way the app works when you loose GPS signal, it still uses the magnetic compass to show you the point.

Adds seem to be devlopers focus. Never answers emails or fixes bugs. No decimal point for manual entry. Miles to destination changes to km after a few seconds. 3 stars due to adds, bugs and no support. Feb 21 update didn't fix anything. How hard could it be to add decimal point to manual entry key pad?

Exactly what I was looking for, but crashes right after opening.

In settings you can change to Imperial from the old metric it had. It shows imperial for a moment and then switches back. Not fixed yet.
