Poh Seng Jewellers Pte Ltd is an established retailer and wholesaler of fine gems, gold and jade. As a third generation family-run business, we are dedicated to providing our customers, not only with the finest jewellery and expert knowledge of the industry, but also an after-sales service that has kept our customers loyal through the years.

Founded by jade dealer Tan Seng Toh in 1939 in North Bridge Road, the business soon flourished as Tan expanded his range of products. The name was changed in 1942 to Poh Seng Goldsmith to more accurately represent its trade. In 1951, the business was relocated to the more central 225 South Bridge Road and was incorporated as Poh Seng Jewellers Pte Ltd in 1975.
Today the family business continues to evolve, with the foresight of second generation Tan Ek Kia and sons, who are intent on updating the company’s image and bringing the brand into the main stream.

To this end, Poh Seng Jewellers Pte Ltd relocated its shop in 1995 to a more prominent address at 227/229 New Bridge Road, right in the heart of Singapore’s Chinatown.

Poh Seng Jewellers Pte Ltd trades as both a wholesaler and retailer of:

The company offers quality products and services in accordance to the standards of the Singapore Jewellers Association and has been awarded the seal of quality: Quality Jewellers of Singapore (QJS).

Poh Seng not only provides quality jewellery but enhances its customers’ experience by providing customised design, restoration of jewellery and size alteration services.

In a further bid to meet customers’ service requirements, Poh Seng offers a wide choice in methods of payment: Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Diners, JCB, Nets and cash, as well as an interest-free instalment plan for DBS cardholders over a 6-12 month period for purchases of $500 and above.
