Showcase Cinemas UK

Used to be able to check out availability. Not all the time as it would freeze but sometimes. Now I can't even find my local cinema. Have done every search and it states that there are no local ones even though there is a deluxe 1 mile from my house. Rubbish app

Used to work fine but now it just freezes. I had 2 choices - use an alternative (Vue) or just pitch up at my local showcase and hope to get tickets. I'm not into disappointment..... Guess which I chose?

Used to work fine with no problems at all. Now when clicked into it just continuously loads, sat there for over 12 mins and it never changed from the loading screen. Maybe Showcase are losing too much money from missing out on the administration costs when booking online and are looking to push us back onto it.

The app used to be great but now my local cinema is not included. Wtf is that about. It really needs looking at and fixing because I can't see what seats are available online, it says to use the app.

Used to work perfectly fine. Now it's impossible to do anything other then just load it up. Won't even scroll down to show all the movies. What a waste....

This used to work fine. Now it just loads, and loads, and loads without actually ever loading. I don't know what you've done to the app in terms of updates but they've made it unusable.

Wanted to book a ticket for Leeds but can not book on this app. What the f**k

This app is horrendous. Never loads and when it does it crashes when you press the button to book tickets.

It used to work just fine but now it is cr*p. It tells me there are no cinemas within 100 miles.

Was fine. Now does nothing. Other than tell me there are no cinemas within 10,000 miles.

It's a battle to get it to start then it won't recognise my local cinema in reading despite it being just down the Road!

Doesn't recognise Reading as a place. The showcase website also doesn't work of either I.E. or Edge, and the new Deluxe version crashes when you pick your seats. I spend over half an hour trying get to book seats to save disappointment for the family. Useless useless useless.

Used to work fine, and now all it does it wants to do is load, but never does. Sort it out Showcase, the app doesn't work!

No longer loading, slow to open of it ever does. Please fix.

Loading.... Loading..... Loading.... Loading. Pretty much pointless if it doesn't actually do anything.

Cannot set location, continuously times out. Means I can't even see times at local cinema.

It wont recognose Reading even though i am less than 2 miles

Currently sat in a showcase and according to this app there is no cinema here!

I used this app lots before the update. Now it just doesn't load. Shame.

Spooling spooling spooling and then some more spooling. Congratulations not only do I have to sell a kidney to afford to go to the cinema but I can't even book a seat to rest my stitches.

Used to work fine, but all of a sudden Leeds has completely been taken off the app as though the cinema doesn't exist??

I used to like it but now it says the nearest cinema to me is Manchester which is over 30 miles away...nearest is Leeds and it used to show it...what happened?

Terrible app has no cinema north of Coventry available to book. Only downloaded as their also terrible website does not allow you to select seats on tablet or mobile and suggests using the app. Don't have this problem with another well known cinema. Uninstalled immediately.

Web site appears to have been re-designed, making it much less user friendly. This app was suggested as a better way to purchase my tickets. Seems to work OK for me - app installed & tickets (including student tickets) were booked within a few minutes. The app even explains the breakdown of a "Family" ticket, which I couldn't see on the web site. I reduced the list of venues shown in the app by changing settings to "10 mile" radius. Now, where do I put the details of my Insider card?

Use it for a bit it's fine then out if the blue it won't load up so I uninstall and download again... Are you not testing the app, it's brilliant when it works but this is stupidly annoying fix it and you get 5 *

Doesn't allow bookings for 'Cinema De Lux' and couldn't locate my nearest cinema, but found three in other 'local' cities much further away. Ridiculous. What's the point of using this? Dunno, use the web page, it's easier.

Downloaded this app because their website is completely terrible, and I wanted to book a couple tickets for Nottingham. Having downloaded it, the app crashed on me twice before I successfully opened it, and guess what? The only cinema unavailable on the app is Nottingham. Don't waste your time, this app is s***.

Every time I tried to set up a password I knew I'd actually remember it was deemed invalid due to (previously unspecified) arbitrary requirements, which meant I'd have to write it down rendering the whole exercise pretty much moot. Annoyed me enough that I just uninstalled the app

Great looking app and when it works its fantastic. But there are regular glitches. Timing out problems and so forth. Keep up with maintenance and you will find people will use it and your cinema for the ease of the app. Dont and we will go else where because why spend money at a cinema that makes life hard?
