About Poejazzi

One of the first apps to showcase modern, original poetry as a fully interactive and multimedia experience, from visuals to magazine content, created by “London’s premier spoken word and music night” (The Southbank Centre) and multimedia arts organisation, Poejazzi.

The app is a poignant, funny and diverse collection of poems covering the bits of every day life that somehow turn out to be the best stories. It features some of the most respected artists in spoken word and it's future stars.

Season One will update for 16 weeks with a poem once a week accompanied by audio renditions, video renditions, videos created by visual directors who were inspired by the texts and the Poejazzi online magazine to entertain you on the move.

Poejazzi has been named Time Out Critic’s Choice several times, been included in its list of 101 Things To Do Around London and have curated events for establishments/organisations ranging from Bestival to The Royal Albert Hall. They have also featured many acts who have gone on to become familiar names in spoken word as well as music including Ed Sheeran, Polarbear, Kate Tempest, Jamie Woon, and Scroobius Pip.
