Houseofficer for Android
HouseOfficer was developed by Ed Wallitt and Tom Reay, a doctor and developer who both realised that paper patient lists are inefficient, insecure and not in the spirit of good medical care.
Ed Wallitt is the founder of Podmedics.com, a worldwide leader in online medical education, and Podmedics Ltd, a company that creates intelligent and to-the-point software for healthcare.
Unable to get pass pin number. Keeps asking for it.
Program closes when I try to enter a pin number. As a Resodent it seems like a good idea and would love to use it.
But unfortunately every time I go to set a pin number the app crashes, it's been doing this for months. Real shame as it looks like there's a lot of potential
I can't get past the 'set PIN' stage. After I confirm my pin it just asks me to set my pin again...ad nauseam.
It crashes on start
After confirmation of pin on first attempt, begins to crash but then sends you back to the first 'choose a pin' screen. On second attempt to confirm pin, crashes completely. On a note 4 w/ android 4.4.4. Fix or at least reply and I'll review my rating.
Sounds great, but unfortunately it crashes every time I try to confirm my PIN, so I can't use it :/ I'm using a HTC ONE with Android 4.4.3 and Sense UI version 6.0
Use this app in the past and now with the upgrade to KitKat does not seem to work on my Samsung Note
After entering pin, app crashes and reloads.
Great!
Brilliant
Suggest a couple of things. Tapping on the patient's name in the patient list should bring up all details of the patient instead of pressing on the pen icon. Secondly, "return key" functionality doesn't seem to come up on the keyboard( I use Google keyboard on Samsung note2). So in effect you have a long sentence which you have to scroll sideways to see the whole message. Otherwise I would recommend.
Brilliant since the update
Force close if i try to add a patient. Otherwise good concept
Printing out a paper list from the hospital intranet is still faster and more accurate. So no reason to use this instead.
Could have been better if imaging findings could be attached after taking photo of say a xray or ct plate...
The app works now. Pretty neat. Will have to see how useful it actually is come august. Might I suggest a section for bloods?
