Podbean Podcast App, Podcast Player

Would get a full five stars, but it randomly stops playing, and will not start again unless closed out completely and restarted.

Great app! Has yet to fail me!

The amount of content is staggering, I can't get enough of this app. Simple and wonderful.... Simply wonderful.

I like the content and the way app works. I'm rating it 3 stars due to podcasts stop playing suddenly without apparent reason, but it's only happened a few times.

Keeps track of what you have listened to and provides the date of the podcast.

It's reasonably well designed, but awfully crash prone during playback.

Love this app, but now with the new update it constantly force closes and won't even let me play any of the podcasts. It won't even show me a play button.

Easily the best podcast app I've found for android. All of the favourites from iTunes are available and you're able to create playlists. Only irritation so far is when opening the app from the widget (while something's playing) the back button closes the whole app rather than just exiting the now playing screen. Pretty frustrating, and meant having to close the app and refind the podcast I was listening to. Otherwise, very happy with podbean.

This app would be great if it weren't so buggy. It freezes regularly and often requires restarting the phone to get working again. This happens so regularly and stubbornly that this app has become practically useless. I can't listen to a podcast for more than 20 minutes without having to restart my phone and cross my fingers.

Great app, I use it for listening to all podcasts and the new sound adjustment tools are great! My app had been glitchy since the update but I listened to their FAQ guide and it turns out it was my phones battery saver option and not the app!

Update made it even worse.... Won't play if the signal is even SLIGHTLY weak, and I mean SLIGHTLY! Not even on wifi.... Terrible. And it NEVER automatically downloads latest episodes.... Uninstalling after trying, over and over, for the last 5-6 months.

Been using daily for a month and so far it's been great. It's needed to restart a couple times but no big deal. I really love the voice boost that was just added; I listen while showering so it's a big help!

This should be great but is ultimately just really frustrating. So glitchy and constantly crashing and then difficult to reboot. Have had the same issues on all podcasts I've tried to listen to using this app. Hopefully one day bugs will be resolved and it'll be worth using but right now it's barely worth bothering with.

Samsung S7 - will stutter sometimes while listening and is continually freezing my phone. Also when I open the app to select a new podcast it selects one of the recommended which starts playing. Maybe put the user section before the recommended (as I do like the recommended section).

Pretty helpful with a range of audio books and podcasts. If you stop in the middle of a chapter though, it can be difficult to pick up where you left off because it doesn't often want to load.

The user interface for this application is terrible. It uses multiple windows, it's difficult to navigate. Definitely in need of a redesign

The app worked great at first, now it's just a buggy mess. Can't pause or search it'll just crash. I can't even disable notifications completely. Uninstalled

Very nice. After using a backup iphone I had used the itunes podcast app. It was very unintuitive with playlists. When my Note 4 came back from repairs I felt a need for a dedicated podcast app with search and this was it! Playlist are similar to computer playlist set ups so very easy and intuitive. The recommendations have come in handy for those dry spells in series while waiting for the next episode. Honestly if this isnt working good for you I'd write it up to incompatibile device.

Good but has bugs. Better off downloading the podcasts as streaming them is 70/30 success. Crashes after each play. Really good app otherwise.

The update gas totally ruined the app. It will not load anything I search for. Was the best app for podcasts before the update. Now I will find another app

Would give 5 stars but streaming podcasts regularly cut off and I have difficulty restarting even after closing reopening the app. Any advice?

Love the UI but sick to death of playback just stopping and it not restarting. I've tried all the options in the FAQ and spoke directly to ask for options. None of it is working so I've given up.

Very good design and features but riddled with bugs. I have not yet played an episode where the app did not crash on me at least once.

I liked this app until they stopped streaming my favorite podcasts. The final straw for me is when they stopped streaming Dan Bongino!

Podbean has all of my favorite podcasts. I've never had any issue downloading, playing back, or listening over Wi-Fi. It is so simple to navigate, it turned me into an instant podnerd.

This app is so frustrating. It stops for no reason even if you download the episodes. I have hoped they would fix this for close to a year but I have yet to make it through 1 podcast without having to restart the app

App has great features and is probably the best free podcast app in the store but it is buggy and crashes multiple times a day (I'm running it on a Samsung S7) ...pls try to make it more stable. Tx

Love it, except that it doesn't properly connect with my car's Bluetooth, it will play through the speakers but I can't control it with my buttons (can only control on my phone), other podcast apps work fine though?

Still some bugs at S7. Stops playing the pod after about 40 mins. Also has annoying pop ups that looks like there are new casts available but there isn't.

Crashes occasionally, but overall a good app. You can get all sorts of podcasts for free.

The content is brilliant but nothing fully loads and requires you to restart all the time just to continue listening, also since the update it keeps just shutting down and is very buggy

Small delay in getting podcasts. Replays previously played episodes. Otherwise, works well.

Very good, but the most recent update cuts off podcasts while they're playing. The only way I've found to get them to restart is to close it in the notification shade AND clear it out of the recent apps screen.

It's a little finicky some times. And for some reason the auto play next episode doesn't work anymore =/

Using it everyday, pretty solid. It doesn't crash as often as other podcast apps I have tried. The user interface is pretty solid, and its easy to access downloaded stuff via the app

Worst pod streamer I've used. Won't play for even minutes without pausing or changing eps randomly.

I get the "podbean has stopped" error multiple times a podcast. Fire your entire development team.

Podcasts stop after approx 75% of play. App then cannot restart the podcast without restarting it and waiting about 5 minutes while it figures out what it's doing. Every. Podcast. Every. Time.

Crashes frequently but recovers quickly so it's not a big deal. Otherwise not bad at all.

This app has got me addicted to listening to podcasts. Thanks a lot to the developers.
