While most customers will likely be happy to use ShareMyDB in it's standard stand-alone format, others who require the ability to share and synchronize their data can optionally purchase a data-sharing subscription within the app. Here are the features included in our data sharing subscriptions:
* Share & sync a database with others with just one click! Choose the PREPARE DATABASE menu option, and when it's complete, enter the email address of the person you would like to share with. As long as they have a copy of ShareMyDB, they will be able to download your database and start using it.
* You and your shared users do NOT need a live internet connection to use your data. All data changes are saved 'offline' and are synchronized whenever you choose to sync ... with just one click!

Only used to a limited extent so far on databases from my old Windows Mobile device. Full SQLite interface and LUA programming are great. Form builder is versatile. Documentation is helpful, email support friendly and helpful. Dabbling with attaching tables from other databases, will update rating then.

Finally a programmable database app for my Nexus 7, with forms, queries, views, SQL capable, related tables, etc. I am very much satisfied. April 5 update. I may need to review my review. (Took 1 star off) A more complete manual is needed. I have been struggling for 2 days with my SELECT DISTINCT SQL Statements not working. Also, nowhere says if a Spinner control can or cannot display more that 1 row. Support has not answered my email asking for help (yet). I wish there was a "for dummies" book for abcDB. :) I see some guy from support posting here, so I hope I will get an answer here.

Emailed support: got a reply in a few hours asking for more details of problems encountered. It turns out these may be platform-related, so I'll be providing screenshots. This could evolve into a really useful app, so it'll be worth providing feedback. But on my Sony, running Ice Cream Sandwich, it's very much pre-beta right now. Interested in others' experiences. PH

My only question was if there is going to be a way to import data from my ms access database. The support department said this is close to being ready. I could not be happier.

As simple as ABC... Please be aware that abcDB on android only uses text fields. Even when you make a new table with integer fields, after saving they revert to text. This means that sorting will be inaccurate. Same with the date or time fields. The manual does not point this out. It does point out that once a table is made you cannot modify it. So a very basic operation for any database cannot be done... I'd call this a very interesting app with a lot of potential. But it is not finished. It should not have been released for android in its current form.

The import from MS Access imports ONLY tables which works fine. Queries don't get imported because they're sufficiently different that they'd all have to be modified. They cannot even be pasted from a text file because THERE'S NO PASTE FUNCTION AT ALL. I *could* have edited them if they'd been imported, but I'm not about to enter 140 queries via the tablet 'keypad'. Thumbs down.

In paid version form properties items back ground is black so you cant see what you will choose is there any solutions
