Most value for Money (worldwide AeroData and maps). Easy to use. Very actively supporting community.

Never fly without it.

I don't think I'm going to invest in this. Had high hopes but both the phone and p.c versions don't even manage to open. How am I supposed to trust it on the air??

R70%
by R####:

If there was one additional feature that would put the cream on it is the inclusion of spot heights on the map (or am I missing something?)

Y70%
by Y####:

This app is just brilliant. I find that I can now plan a flight in a fraction of the time with complete confidence. Ive crossed checked all calculation by hand and NOTAMS with official NATS publications and all is perfect. Can't recommend jointly enough. Thanks guys for a wonderful app!

There are some nice features compared to other similar products, but the user interface is quirky in the extreme and matches no accepted Android (or IOS) paradigms making it very hard to use. Most control is through pages of identical buttons arranged in a grid with little or no logical structure. In many cases using buttons so small that the text-only labelling has to scroll. The lack of icons makes this feel like an app written in the dark ages.

Y70%
by Y####:

Had such high hopes. NOTAMS not right, even after force download, EFB not working (shows download pending, can't dowload). Will be contacting support. I don't feel confident with using any of the data at this point.

You wanna fly from point A to B? Fine. But if you want to fly from point A to B to C to A you will literally get insane by the very bad usability in this tool.

Y70%

Brilliant! I've tried all the major VFR apps and this is definitely the best. It takes a little time to learn how to use properly but definitely worth the effort!

Y70%
by Y####:

I've been a long time user. It just keeps getting better and better!

Y70%

Excellent! Keep up the good work! EasyVFR is the best VFR app available!

Works great on my Samsung! Easyvfr is the best

G70%

The best flight planning and moving map system around!

Y70%

Just keeps getting better with each version!

Excellent app, does everything required and more. First class support and continuous updates and improvements, many from user suggestions. Also fully integrated with the up and coming PilotAware Traffic Awareness system being developed by Lee Moor.

O70%
by O####:

Easy to use, reliable for your flight planning work and helpful while navigating

M70%
by M####:

Excellent dev support. All up and running on Nexus 5x.

M70%
by M####:

An excellent aid for the VFR pilot although I would prefer a little more map detail, such as motorway and major waterway labelling. I always fly with a 250,000 toppo and can always refer to that, but it would be nice to have at the higher zoom levels. Where is Meppershall, by the way? Having such a wealth of information available at a touch is really great but takes practice to become fluent...but then, what doesn't?

If there was one additional feature that would put the cream on it is the inclusion of spot heights on the map (or am I missing something?)

M70%

Been using PFMS for years. App is so full of features and kept well up to date

M70%
by M####:

One of the most comprehensive navigation packages on the market. The NOTAM service is a great addition.

C70%
by C####:

rely on real Nav instrumentation of course... But cool all the same....

M70%
by M####:

Only complaint is that I would like to see the app use phone hardware buttons, like back or menu.

K70%
by K####:

... Unlike "the other aviation software". Some non-androidisms in UI but works well. Regular nav database updates are great!

N70%
by N####:

Installed OK, but fails to run, crashing back to the home page. As I want something reliable in the cockpit, I'm extremely unlikely to ever bother installing ths.

H70%
by H####:

Very similar to sd notams never stop coming in on my phone brill..one thing I would like is the airfield name on notams rather than code but that might be something I'm doing wrong ? . Love it thanks. Dave.

Getting better every release. The nrw Motam push gets me aware what is going on around the area I fly in before I plan to go flying and lets me avoid planning for an area with high military activity. For me the completest flying app WX and route planning, W&B check, filing flightplan from inside the app, checking Notam along the flight, go flyng including airfield maps (some countries add. costs) inflight airspace warnings, coupled with Flarm ADS-B other aircrafts visible, obstacle warnings and more to name

Z70%
by Z####:

Excellent works great on my galaxy tab 2 7 has full Australian databases as well as other worldwide one's .

Y70%
by Y####:

Often does not work at all

Z70%
by Z####:

Very handy if you want a good back up to the installed GPS

Z70%
by Z####:

It sure looks promising, but after four tries of downloading the massive database, I gave up. Seems if you want to do anything else with your device during the nearly 2 gb download, it quits and you have to start over again. If you're going to ask me to subscribe when I can't get past step one, then I'm getting off the bus. YMMV.

Z70%

May well be a nice pack, but it's just another blatant lie: free to install, then have to pay loads to activate and run, plus regular paid licence renewals and updates. Uninstalled.

I've been using PFMS since many years on Win mobile and now on Android. I flew it right down to Africa and it has always been reliable and accurate. The PFMS team listens to their users and is very responsive. With the right hardware, this Android version will really make your flights much easier.

Q70%
by Q####:

Love the ease of flightplanning with this App. Tap & hold where I want to go, pick the spot from the list and BAM, ready. Love that new forms-printing via the web too!

K70%
by K####:

The whole pocketfms desktop/mobile combo works great :-) from brainstorming where one could fly, to actual flight planning, the inflight execution and the log analysis, all phases are covered :-)

T70%
by T####:

I am a student pilot and I use this app on an HTC one X and a Motorola Xoom, where it runs faultlessly. Although in its Android format it still has some idiosyncrasies from its Apple origins, this is still by far the best aviation app out their for general aviation use. Where else can you obtain an app that you can use on a smartphone that gives you flight planning, airspace infringement warnings, active weather and radar functions, relative terrain, minimum safe altitudes etc etc. My only small complain

M70%
by M####:

Sorry. Would love to love this app but can't even get it to boot on my Galaxy S3. Tried reinstalling, but to no avail. Fix and I might try again. Second review...tried to keep and "fix"app but nothing works. Blacks out, won't update charts properly and continues to crash. I'll look for another app that gives less aggravation.

Z70%
by Z####:

Works great on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7. Every iteration keeps getting better.
