Horse Rider SOS

Used this today as a test like the warning however I think it would be better if it could inform more than 1 person at a time

A great little app for anyone who rides alone. Gives you an audible warning before it alerts your emergency contact. Just don't sit on your horse chatting or forget to turn it off after a ride.

After 4 tries to download from google play store, none successful, and numerous emails and error reports to the developer with no response, I finally got a successful download off the web. The feature that is supposed to disable the sleep feature didn't work on my droid so the alarm kept going off. The map link in the email was cut off so buddy couldn't locate me. Would love it if not for these issues.

I used this app for the first time yesterday. The alarm went off whilst I was walking the Horse on a hack on my own. The noise immediately spooked my Horse dumping me on the floor, luckily she did run off, but proceeded to munch on foliage nearby. The alarm was still going so i shook the phone, to no avail, the only way I could stop it and hopefully prevent a text from being sent and wasting the local air ambulance time, was by taking out the battery. This incident could have been a lot more serious and safeguards need to be implemented, in my case the motion detection obviously didn't work, even though it appeared to do so when I tested it. I suggest that this app is pulled before anyone is injured or killed.

I've been using this for 4 months and have never had issues with it. The pre alarm is noisey (which it needs to be) It will spook nervous horses, to get mine familiar with it i let the alarm run whilst feeding her she did freak out at first...4 days later she didn't care at all, i still do this sometimes to keep her familiar. The reason it only gets 4 stars is you can only have 1 active buddy, being able to alert all 3 would be better. I wouldn't put ambulance as a buddy as this isn't a 999 call.

Alert sent quickly to the person i requested so i will feel a lot safer out hacking knowing they will be alerted if anything goes wrong!

I ride on my own too, this is a great idea. Even if in a group its not always easy to explain where you are, there aren't always signs to tell emergency services.

Far too sensitive.. The alarm sounded while i was riding n spooked my horse n then stopped sounding!

Ingenious app. I always ride out on my own and where horses are concerned anything can happen. I will feel happier knowing this app has been activated

This app takes up a lot of memory and doesn't let you move to SD card!! Please sort this out as I'll have to uninstall and I've not used it yet!

Galaxy s2... Didn't detect moment even when traveling at 60mph with GPS on. Galaxy s3... switched itself on and off as it felt like it. Put posts on facebook page a couple of times to not get much info in return so have now given up with the app!!!

Too expensive. I could have made the app myself it's so simple. and it's got multiple issues....
