Pacific Northwest Hikes for Android
Looks like a great app, but when I tried to load the Eagle Creek trail - one of the most common and popular just east of Portland - they wanted me to pay $0.99 for it. At a buck a hike, I'll look elsewhere for an app. --- EDIT: Raised my rating based on the dev reply below. It was not clear that the $0.99 bought a region. I may have to revisit the app. Thanks for the response, guys.
Would love to check out this app but keep getting an error message when trying to create an acct. It's asking me if I have an active data connection (I do).
Gotta pay for the hike packets.. Pay for something Google will give for free.. Bogus app.
I was excited when I came across this app, however I've tried several times to open it - continual "loading" screen even if I wait for 5 minutes. Bummer because I would have enjoyed this app.

Found lots of trails close to my home, love that this app still works even when I don't have a cell connection.
This app is centered around Washington. A few hikes in Oregon, not sure about Idaho, but definitely not enough to be labeled Pacific Northwest.
Got to pay to unlock regions? Why? All this should be common knowledge. Want to know about a hike? Google it and save yourself money! Got a reply from the makers (ill give them props for that) but they said the information is in the app is available on your cell phone when its "offline". Im not that old, but i guess im an oldschool hiker and would think having an ACTUAL MAP with you would be a good idea. You dont have to worry about paper running out of battery like a cell phone does.

Useless info. Free app until you need info about the location, then it's $.99
