PNC SmartAccess® Card for Android
The app seems to be operating better each day. I couldn't even view my transactions when I first installed, it kept making me log in. But after a couple of days, it seems to be more operable. I can now see my transactions, though it doesn't seem to update as quickly as the old app.
It never loads the transaction history. Always wanting me to prove my identity (while on same device everytime). Always making me wait on a verification code to my email. I hate this. What was wrong with the original app? It worked fine
Old app worked perfect. If it's not broke why fix it? I really don't like the new app. No 4 digit pass code feature for quick access and needs verification every time I log in. Not a fan.
When installing the app I initially tried to sign in with the information I previously set up. I kept getting Username/PW incorrect message. For kicks I selected to create an account in the app, I had to setup all of my info again but am now able to login with no problems. **side note: it's a pain in the ass having to create an account for the app when the account was already created...get it together.
For everyone saying it won't accept your log in info, THINK PEOPLE! It's a new app that you've never used. Therefore you have to create a new account. Your old info won't work. The app is fine. A little less convenient since you can't log in with a pin, but still fine.
New to Smart Access, was referred to the app for easily tracking my account. But after creating a new account, username, and password, I have been told each time that my password is incorrect and that I need a special log in code every time that I try to log in. Not sure why this is happening, but I have uninstalled the app as if now until I hear that the issues that we are all experiencing are fixed. Thanks!
1.) Removed EASY pin sign so I can RECREATE a new account only to log in EVERY SINGLE TIME using a username and password. 2.) Removed the "Suspend Card" option. 3.) Just made it all around terrible. Not too worried about it because I will be closing account soon. Thanks! :)
Every time I try to create a new account it says unable to process your request. I even tried logging in with my info for the old app for the hell of it. I have deleted and installed the app 4 times but it's always the same. The old app worked great. This one is a complete waste of time and an extreme frustration.
Can't sign in, and absolutely NOBODY in the bank or on the phone can help me. Nobody knows anything bout to app. They just tell you anything to get you off the phone. Nothing they tell you works. I'm switching banks smfh
Since the "upgrade" can't see my transactions all the time, like ever. This is more than frustrating. I'm deleting it because I have to call to get my transactions anyway so no point in having this taking up space on my phone. Good bye "Dumbaccess" app.
It hardly ever works, it doesn't even show pending transactions. I end up having to hop on my computer to see my balance and transactions. What is the point of forcing your customers to use this new app if it doesn't work.
I have not had this card a month and when you log on you can never see your account activity. On top of that you can't use your Routing/Account Number to pay bills. You have to use your card number and I was never told that. It sucks. I have had plenty prepaid cards and was able to pay my bills. You guys need to do something about that.
Since y'all have installed this new all. I cant log in to check my card. I can't do anything on it. Plus it keeps crashing once it looks like it is going to sign me in. Wyd. Fix this place the old app back and updated it or something.
This new update or whatever it is absolutely sucks! Every time I log in to look at my account and transactions nothing comes up so I have to log onto the website instead. What's the point of this if I can't use it? Hate it.
New app freezes, no option for mobile check deposit like other prepaid company's. Only good to see your balance and that's when it works!
I was only able to log in once. It keeps saying incorrect user name or password. I requested code emailed to me and do no receive code. The worst app I have ever used.
What's going on with y'all PNC? You need to roll out some more options on this app. And take down that (this an old app thing) when trying to sign in online. More options like, bank,card merge for those that other accounts and want to move money. And many add a savings. And be able to look at more of your transaction History. Also and more was to add ur money.
It is now Aug and still cannot use this app. It is very frustrating. I know. My log in and password. But the app continues to say its wrong. I think 1 star is generous
I honestly expected more from PNC... I'm disappointed by the level of access this app provides. I've had THREE security codes sent three separate times... Only for them to be "incorrect"????
For now it seems to work as it should but for those that don't understand we must recreate an account. you cannot log into your old one. It seems like they fix the issue of the main screen not showing anything but still some of the features don't function as they should but you can still see your account balance and your transaction history now
I'm just started using this app and I have to say I don't really like it. When I go to check my balance nothing showed up I have to keep deleting and install it all over.. It need to be fix
The old app was fine. I thought maybe they may have added more features but no. This app is absolutely awful. It won't show me my balance. Also I have to enter in too much info to long in.
The app was great, why was it changed to this flawed joke? Still unable to log in, can't even get password change emails, it's just so flawed and terrible. I've had since it came out and if it wasn't for the website I'd never see my balance/transactions. Also seems like everyone is having problems and nothing is being done to update or patch the app. At least drop this one and bring back the old one. Please do something. Thank you.
This app is a huge headache! I shouldn't have to verify my email every time I log in to check my account. I don't understand why they did away with the old app, it worked much better. I'll be uninstalling this one... its not worth the hassle.
This app really sucks I can't even get off the first page where they ask u for your name email address username and password. So I was told by a representative to uninstall the app and reinstall and it probably would work after that hope so.…........ I did the whole uninstall and reinstall thing guess what still didn't work!

Why did it change in the first place? I can't even log in, it keeps saying that the app can't open at this time. It's been saying that for almost an hour.
First off I NEVER write reviews!!! I HATE this new app! The old one was simple....all I and to do was enter in my pin number and I'm in my app just like that! But no yall had to update the app and make us put in a username and password WHICH DOESN'T EVEN WORK. Yet I go on the actual website and enter thee EXACT same one I entered on the app and it's magically logs me in my account! What is the point that of having the app if I can't even use it. I will be unstalling imeidietly. I have never been so Frustrat
It keeps telling me my password is wrong. How? It's been the same 1 for years...so I hit the "forgot" Button and had them send me a verification code to my email and it never came...yet I did get the email stating I was locked out of account .. definitely do NOT like this new app!
I'd give it NO stars if that was an option. I can't get my balance to show or my transactions. There was NOTHING wrong with the old app. This app SUCKS.
I cant even log in. It keeps saying my info is wrong. but i can log in through chrome. The app sucks, and the people who created it are idiots for releasing an unfinished app.
I personally like the new look of the app when you login. I haven't had any problems with it. Quick and easy to set up. But ive only had it for a couple of days so we'll see if it's still good after a while.

Horrible app. My user name and password is correct bc im logged in on the browser but the app always tells me its incorrect. When i select forgot password it says it sent the link to my email but never does. Dont download this worthless app.
This is horrible!! There was nothing wrong with the old app! My balances aren't showing correctly and it is not showing when I add money or spend money. Horrible app!!
You have to wait for a verification code every time you want to log in. Then it doesn't send one... Terrible app need to fix this
This is horrible. I can't see my balances . I can't do anything at all. Why did u have to change the app? The old one was fine. And from reading the reviews I can't even disable my card when I want. That was the sweetest part about the old app. Please bring back the other app. Because this one is horrible. And I will continue to write horrible reviews until something is done about this.
This app is a joke i cant check my balance or anything!! Id give this app no stars if i could. What was wrong with the other app? Fix this problem!! Cuz im not about to dial to hear my balance 30+times a day
Why do I have to get a verification code EVERY SINGLE time I log in? Wth is the point of a password if I have to enter it just to WAIT to get a passcode to enter too. Horrible feature please get rid of it!

Transactions and balance no longer showing after login. Takes 10 mins at least from having to logout then login again over and over til finally the balance and transactions show up. Takes less time to just call the number on the card to get my balance. All these reviews are pretty bad yet developers have done nothing.
