PNC Mobile

I'm satisfied with the App now. It does everything that I need now. I haven't gotten an error with any of my deposits or transfers and using The camera Light Within the phone has helped tremendously. No more retakes images, just used app to deposit a check. It worked great. Much better than the old version. It seem PNC has paid attention to us customers.

Have been using this app for 4 years. After latest update I literally can't deposit checks via the app. Every time I take a clear as day picture it tells me it's not clear enough. Very very frustrating. Would love a solution

This is pathetic. You can check your balance but as soon as you try any other features, like cashing a check, zip. Nada. The app either crashes or logs you out. PNC, you have plenty of money. Get a real developer out there to make an app that works.

The mobile deposit app changed. Now you get charged $8.25 to have your mo ey available immediately. It used to be free. I guess back to using the atm machine to having my money available immediately. Went backwards PNC BANK.

So slow. App is great on the iPhone but on my Samsung phone it's so slow and often needs to be forced shutdown in order to get login to work (or it just crashes). No fingerprint login is also a huge downside. IPhone version just got a total makeover and this version is still terrible.

I held off on updating the app to the newer version but did so today to deposit a check. It crashes every time I get past the login screen now. I want something stable, not flashy.

Please do away with the app automatically taking photos of checks. I cannot even get the check centered on the screen before it takes a blurry photo, causing a loop of multiple bad photos. Why would you eliminate the shutter button?

PNC has crippled bill pay compared to the website. I sign on to the website and it tells me what bills are due. I sign on the app and it says nothing. I don't understand why PNC can't get it right. How can the website do more than their own app? So all of the bells and whistles are nice but it still can not do something as basic as bill pay. I just don't get it. Ever update there is STILL no improvement to bill pay. Check writing is dead almost everyone pays bills on line yet PNC will not even update bill pay for over a year..

Update: Much Improved! Old: I have a 2nd joint account that I can't access through the virtual wallet app and this app is constantly glitchy and unreliable, as well as outdated. Technology is a massive decision point for my banking needs. PNC needs to improve.

When u had the old App. Everything work great....This new App. Or upgrade.....lol....some upgrade... everytime I'm using my phone or if it's just setting there.. it says the PNC App. has crashed ....even if I'm not even using the PNC App. ......If I could... I would give the new App./upgrade a .... - 0 ..... but they don't have it .....Go back PNC to old App. Or find someone that knows what in the heck there Doing..... ........A PNC Customer for many years Jen

All of the perfect online options are there… I just wish that it wasn't so buggy. I have a brand new Samsung S8 and I have to continually shut the program down manually. Has been a problem since the app's inception though.

App works good but when I close it, a lot of times my Note 8 will show an error that says "PNC Mobile has unexpectedly stopped working and has been closed". That's the only thing keeping me from a 5 star rating.

This is a good app and easy to navigate. But I have been noticing lately alot of crashing and I cannot access something's because it just crashes. I would really like to seamlessly access my money

Made some improvements with the new design but it's still lacking in some important functionality. Can't add bill payees. Can't cancel a zelle payment after initiation.... No finger print log in.... Just not quite full function yet. Update: constantly crashing. Completely unusable on s8

The PNC mobile banking app works ok. The image button/icons for check deposits should be oriented for more "intuitive" landscape viewing since that's the only way you should make check images. The app does not work well at all for mobile check deposits.

Auto-runs in the background. How do I know? Almost daily I get an alert that it has crashed, and I rarely use the app.

Mobile deposits stopped working under android 8.0 Oreo. It cannot take the picture. I unstalled the app and reinstalled it. Worked for a while then it stopped again. Please fix this. Even after the update deposits still do not work with Oreo. This problem has been around since October and they cannot seem to fix it. Terrible!

I would like to see a fingerprint login feature similar to Wells Fargo. I am always having to force close app due to errors - note 8

The new bill pay camera is extremely frustrating to use. There is no shutter button or anything; the camera automatically takes a photo when you press continue and there's no way to pause. This would work fine if humans had three hands but it makes taking a photo of a check more difficult than it needs to be. I always have to take multiple photos before the checks are accepted. Also, if you made funds available immediately I would be more likely to use PNC for other services.

Works well. Closest PNC Bank was 12 minutes away, and closed for good. Next one is 33 minutes away, so this mobile deposit app makes it so I don't have to go so far just to cash, or deposit check. I get cash using "CASH BACK" when checking out at Supermarket. For me I don't need alot of cash, for I do most transactions electronically. Works perfect for me. Recent update, in Nov. 2017, allows camera to assist better on taking snapshots of check. Awesome!

Not as good as other banking apps! Another update and still no fingerprint or Iris login? It's really lagging behind other banking apps. Also keeps saying it's stopped even when it's not open. Come on Pnc get with it

The app is decent. Please do finger print scanning for log in. Additionally, the app crashes every time I go to close it.

Ever since they went to the new app style, doing phone deposits is basically useless I've had to try 10+ times for the app to take a photo of the front of the check and sometimes wouldn't take a photo of the back of the check. Whatever camera apk they're using sucks

Camera feature stopped working on mobile check deposit. I reinstalled PNC app it worked for first time and then on the second attempt it stopped working again.

The mobile deposit accepts the front of my checks, but always requires 5-6 tried before accepting the backs. Otherwise, it's a handy app that I use a lot. Lets me transfer money on the fly which I love. If you have a PNC account, you should definitely use this app. 11/21/16 Update: not much changed. Still takes 10 tries on mobile deposit. Otherwise, good. Update 1/18: new check deposit feature is MUCH better! Yay! Love PNC!

app crashes every time I boot up my Nexus 6P phone running Android O. But, mobile deposit is working again.

The app works well and has a very nice interface. I don't use it, but Android Pay integration is nice too.

App is much better than it used to be. It takes the inconvenience out of depositing checks in person.

Great improvement with today's update! A must have if you're a PNC client, the best bank and only one to really and avidly help you grow your business! The only draw of this app: I miss seeing the friendly staff at my branch as often as I'd like. Keep it up!

Newest version of the app is a million times better than the old one. Much cleaner, no issues with check deposit, finally works great

Generally good, but the recent update is a bit unstable. I also miss being able to add paper checks to my records

It seems no matter what I do the app will try to run in the background and then crash I have the pixel 2 xl and Google support is also garbage on helping the situation...

This new update looks unprofessional and sloppy. Please go back to the other look

Use the Virtual Wallet app if you can. This app lacks many features: 1) No swipe input for username 2) No fingerprint login capability 3) No option to view bank or credit card statements

No fingerprint scan, they have like 3 mobile banking apps that all work well in various areas, but require you to use all the apps in order to do Some hinges, not all. Overall clunky. Dislike the way it doesn't immediately pull funds when you pay bills.

It makes my life a lot easier not having to go to the bank to deposit checks anymore - it saves a lot of time. (I do miss going into the bank, though, since they're always so friendly)

The app is buggy, constantly crashes, and takes way too long to credit direct deposits to my account via the mobile deposit feature.

It doesn't update properly. It'll show my paycheck deposited, then it'll take it away. Same when I make a utility payment. Very hard to track finances.

Very easy to use and understand. Never had an issue with it crashing. It makes mobile banking easier!
