Kiwi OBD for Android
Great well designed app. Takes obd gauges to the next level with a modern new high tech feel.
Does not work with Android Nougat
Love it.
Simply great
Sweeeeeeeeeet app!!!!
Works like a charm
Works pretty good.
Nice looking app.
Connected right away to my WRX!
Works great! Nice to see boost and exhaust gas temperatures.
It looks really awesome I tested it on my Ford F250.
Nice little app with lots of features and a good platform to grow into.
Works well on my Outback
I had no problems connecting to my Kiwi on my iPhone X. Works better than the other apps. Must have!!!!
I’ve done many old apps but none of them are as good as this one.
NO THANKS. I pay for the product, then you want me to pay for the app to use your product?
It works well and I’ve had little to no issues connecting. Also worked with my device over 100 feet away.
I downloaded the free trial, it worked for an hour. Got a good feel and its capabilities. I made the purchase of the basic license for $9.99. Loving it....
I purchased the Basic License for 9.99 bucks, so far I’m using it every day and it is stable. waiting for the other License so that I can play with it.
The hardware and the app works well on my Range Rover Sport. I’ve never seen the driving efficiency feature on any app and it’s pretty awesome to see my driving score to save on my CO2 emissions and fuel consumption.
Playing around with this app and comparing it with others leads me to conclude that this is the future of all automotive gauges. It’s a cool feeling to know that I can have a high end gauge for my 335 all on my Android Devices. Technology these days, amazing!
Can't store vehicle, app freezes frequently, user terms are suspect. Why would you release a bug infested app?
One hour trial only! Device stopped working after a borked update about two years ago. I hoped an update feature might be built in to the app but I'll be uninstalling straight away.
I'm surprised at how fast it connected. I didn't even need to pair it to my phone. Just pressed the button, and bam boom.. Connected. So stoked!!! Love it.
Kiwi still has an issue connecting on devices that have been updated past lollipop. This issue has pleaged this company for a couple of years. My current device has been updated to Oreo and it's still an issue. Only device I have that will go back to lollipop is my Nexus 6.
If you didn't get a license from backing this on kickstarter, dont buy one. This app is in an Alpha development stage only, it simply does not function. If this does work one day, I would hope that backers will be given a deluxe license code for free for their patience.
Basically doesn't work, at least with the trial version. I'd be prepared to pay (I've bought other OBD apps to use with my Kiwi 3), but not until I'm sure it will work.
Has potential, but needs some updates. App keeps crashing when I try to save my car info. Also, my diesel compression isn't 14.6, it's 19.5. I have a 1.9l Jetta TDI. I Haven't had a chance to actually connect it yet to the Kiwi, but I hope I can soon.
Not ready for prime time by a long shot, the app is not even finished. Plenty of other OBD apps do a better job. 5 star reviews clearly fakes, disappointing to see that, I thought PLX was a reputable company.
It looks like the future and how expensive cars are designed nowadays. It’s nice to see my gauges in real- time. Makes my car look more expensive. :)
I bought their Bluetooth device and now they want another ten bucks for the app. One hour trial use and ridiculous permissions. Pass. Don't believe the obvious fictional 5 star reviews.
Just a heads up and a warning. Please read the usage agreement before accepting. Allows the software to send any and all information it likes to its servers and then share it with whomever they like. Just like this software the developers promise the world and fail to deliver at every turn. Look elsewhere for an OBD application.
I’ve used other apps and some of the parameters are so slow, if I rev my engine the RPM sputters and the update rates suck. Using Kiwi OBD app, I noticed that the slow parameters like water temp updates slower and the faster moving parameters updates much faster. PLX calls this smart polling and it seems to work well. It optimizes the refresh rates depending on how quickly your parameters are likely to move. Pretty cool!
What absolute rubbish. Terms & agrerments actually specify that Kiwi will use the data/stats collected from the device for their own purposes. Which is a huge violation in privacy. And they dont even allow usage of the app if you don't accept their terms & conditions. What a way to screw all those backers for this app.
The app must include an opt-out for data collection. Since it doesn't I'm rating it a 1 (unacceptable).
Got it way back and finally got the app. As expected, it's new, many features are missing from the competition, but they'll get there eventually. Question is will they be able to play catch up at such a high price compared to others. I don't know. But for now I need to remove the unit of measure you call US standard so the rest of the world can use the app. Thank you. I'll keep updating everytime I see major improvements.

A 1 hour trial after already buying the kiwi 3 unit? Thanks but I'll stick with dash command. Already dropped a few bucks on it to get my car specific PIDs and such and the base version is free to use, I think I'm good on spending any more thanks.
