The plugCAM™ home monitoring solution is the first of its kind using HomePlug® AV-compliant powerline communications (PLC) technology.
Setup is as easy as 1-2-3:
Step 1 - Plug the PLC adapter into a wall socket and connect it to your router or broadband modem using the included Ethernet cable.
Step 2 - Plug the plugCAM™ into a wall socket and place the camera in a location you wish to monitor.
Step 3 - Download the free plugCAM™ App onto your smartphone and add the camera by scanning the QR code(printed on the bottom of the camera), searching for it over a local network or by typing in the camera ID and Password. The choice is yours!

I had the same issue. Uninstalling-Reinstalling had no effect. The way I got my 7 Plugcams to work again over cellular (worked fine on LAN) was with a HARD RESET of my Samsung Note 4.1.2. Don't know why. Ed

I love this product and app and I was very bummed when my upgrade to Android 5.0 made the app immediately crash. I am so glad it's working again. I have really amazed so many people with how great a picture it receives.

Tried to use it, had app installed but kept saying incorrect password. Even though I entered it correctly 4 times and used Barcode feature 3 times, it wouldn't work . I kept deleting the camera and retrying as I live out of town and wanted it to work! Now I have to drive back to town and return the product, as it wont work without the app and go with a totally different Webcam. Tried searching online for support but nothing came up that worked.

This app worked fine with my cameras until I upgraded to Android lollipop on my Nexus 4. Would not connect to previously configured cameras. Tried to edit cameras in the app, and app keeps quitting. Eventually able to delete camera configurations, but attempts to re-add them either crash the app or, once added, crash the app when attempting to access the camera. Good app if you don't upgrade to Lollipop.

I cannot added cameras the app just keeps crashing, when I added a camera manually it still crashed. Hopefully you can get it working on 5.0 soon, thanks.

Have a Moto x gen2 which just got the is update to Android 5 and now this app just crashes with in 10 seconds of launching. Cannot open any cameras. Grrrrr

PC view does not work at all and can't seem to view the video on the phone from outside my LAN using 3G and 4G. how do i set up port forwarding when there's no port to listen to?

When PlugCam says plug and play, they mean plug and play. Downloaded the app, scanned codes into phone, and spouse plugged base into router, then placed and plugged in cameras and I reset passwords on app and that was it. Unbelievably easy.

SET UP EXACTLY AS INSTRUCTED...DIDN'T WORK. Spent two days reading blogs, reinstalling app, sticking paperclip in reset on camera, etc...still can not get camera running...says "not found" Don't buy.
