Shutter-Speed for Android
Lack of documentation makes this app frustrating to work with. Will look elsewhere.
Works well for me
Very poorly laid out and just simply doesn't seem to work.
A great little app that does what it says, nothing more, nothing less! Some instructions on showing how to place the guidelines to measure your exposure would be helpful... as well as how to expand the graph on high speeds and make it easier to see. I had to figure it out by myself :-(
Very good app, though only really useable with an optical sensor plugged in. Developer is plainly talented but included no docs or help file. It's important to know which parts of the wave form to select, so you'll need to Google for that. Read up on the Audacity methods online. The 'corrections' column in your results are bizarre and unintuitive until you realise it's 1/3 stops, then it makes sense. So '+4' would mean +four 1/3 stops, or +one and a third stops, etc. Very useful app.
A very useful tool with the photoplug optical sensor. Higher speeds become almost impossible to interpret so the vertical height of waveforms should be restricted so the user can gauge the required 'front' and 'rear' waves when the screen image is highly magnified.
Doesn't work at all.Waste of time and money. No instructions bloody hopeless
Missed an accurate description how to get a trustworthy result.
Doesn't seem to work very well on my Zeiss ikoflex..shutter speed to choose is 125/250/500...
I tested a few of my large format lenses with this app. It works very well on both my Nexus 7 (second version) on Android 5.0.1 and Moto X (first version) on Android 4.4.4. I was surprised to learn that my oldest lens is nearly spot on at all but the very highest speeds! I expected it to be way off the mark. This app is extremely useful. A PhotoPlug may be in my future! This app is well worth the low price.
I will update my rating once I've had a chance to use the app. Right now I just wanted to say thank you for bringing this to Android. I purchased one of the plugs several months ago thinking there was an android app. I look forward to finally being able to use it.
