Welcome to the Women's World Cup Challenge!
This game has two segments - the first is the Group Stage and the second is the Knockout Stage.
Group Stage:
Pick which nation you think will finish 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each Group, A-F. For each correct pick, you'll be awarded 10 points. There are a maximum of 180 points you can earn (6 groups x 3 positions x 10 points).
Bonus points! Each team you picked to finish 1st, 2nd or 3rd in their Group is eligible for 10 bonus points if they qualify for the Knockout stage. There are a maximum of 160 bonus points you can earn (16 teams qualify for Knockout stage x 10 points).
Knockout Stage:
The Knockout stage will start as soon as the Group stage ends. You job is to pick the perfect bracket. Chose the winner from each match in the round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals, third-place game and World Cup Final. Points get higher as the rounds go on!
For each correct result you pick you earn the following points:
Round of 16 = 20 points per correct pick (160 total points available)
Quarter-finals = 40 points per correct pick (160 total points available)
Semi-finals = 80 points per correct pick (160 total points available)
Third Place Match = 160 points for correct pick
Final = 320 points for correct pick
The player with the most points at the end of the tournament wins the Women's World Cup Challenge!

It isn't giving points for the Germany France game because it went to penalties. It also would be nice to be able to see other picks on the leaderboard so you can know whether you can still win

I get the app one day after the world cup starred and even though all the other groups hadn't played yet I can't make any predictions until the knockout stage so that's not cool. But I like how it keeps me updated with the games and teams.

You can play against your friends and strangers by joining groups. I sent an email at night for some assistance and had a response the next morning. Thanks for making a fun app for the Women's World Cup!!!
