PS4 Remote Play

Love it. However I purchased a Mad Catz L.Y.N.X.9 controller for a more mobile feel. Is there anyway I can get support for this controller? Just asking. I only purchased a ps4 only for mobile game play. I don't have the ps4 connected to a TV and I only use it for its remote play features. Whether it be through my vita, pstv, or Xperia z3. A compact remote to go along with 2 of the 3 devices I just mentioned would be great. My Xperia z3 compact is my go to device for gaming. Js #Sony

Upgraded my Sony experia to the xz. Installed the ps app and now can't get it to load up on my mobile to use it. Disappointing

Worked fine until latest update. Now only plays for 5 minutes and then my phone crashes. Must be a bug fix or something. Please fix so I can give 5 stars

Connect your phone to ps4 with usb cable!! At this point there is no lag and hd screen like tv if someone doesnt have tv so he need to use remote play "oh god thats too laggy with wifi" please fix this for us playstation please

Simply does not work, not even plugin the ps4 to the router by cable (as they recommend) it's laggy and unplayable.. Rubish

This app is the greatest invention know to husbands with no TV rights. This app is now complete with the addition of the ability to use device mic for party/in game chat. amazing work guys.

Just need an update to be able to leave my Ps4 on at home and have my Z3+ connect over mobile data when am out, other than that it's perfect and it should stay as a Sony exclusive app.

After an update no longer able to login to my account to use the app bloody sort it out psn and the other ps app

Perfectly well on Z4 Tablet and PS4 Pro. 1080P Streaming like a Pro! Would be good if Blu-ray can be streamed, too.

Its working fine it doesn't lag as much any more but I can't get to pair the ps4 controller to work with remote play help and I'll change to 5 stars iknow it isn't much but I bought an xperia just to b able to play ps4 games but there's no point in doing it If I don't have a controller

Upsetting that my Xperia can't connect unless on a WiFi connection even though LTE is fast enough. That would be worth an update!

Since the android 7 update i cannot connect my ds4 controller to use it with the app, the register option doesn't do anything

On screen control pad(z2) no longer works after update.

Love It. Got The Controller Mount For My Z3+ And All. Works Great And Has All The Settings For Best Performance Adjustment. Has Slight Delay But Still Totally Playable. it Just Needs One Thing!!!! A Function That Alows Use Of A Microphone For Online Playing Like Earphones With A Microphone Etc. other Than That, Great If You Have A Sony Phone. It Would Also Be Awesome To Have The Ability To Have Zooming Functions Like Being Able To Select A Rectangular Or Circular Portion And EnlargeIT

I use it on a Sony Xperia Z5 Compact. It works pretty well on it. I have no issues connecting the DS4 to my phone (via Bluetooth). I have never lost connection to the DS4. It has worked 100% of the time. As for gaming, it works pretty well. I am very surprised by how well it usually works. I haven't played too many games on it, but when I have, it has worked well most of the time. I have had some lag when playing, but most of the time I don't have an issue. Highly recommend!

It's OK for some games, specifically ones without an on screen map etc as the map in games like the Witcher etc are just too small on the phone screen to be useful, especially at the low res it seems to work at. Basic games where you don't need menus or small maps work well. Getting it set up to work outside the house could be simpler, but works well enough with a decent Internet connection on both ends.

Why do i need a WiFi connection in 2017? I have 80Mb/s, ~30ms ping and ~unlimited data pr month through 4G (LTE) plan. The point of this app is beeing able to be MOBILE isnt it? Maybe it is different reasons?

In public, psvita connects flawlessly. Z5 cannot connect as it always says connection speed too slow. Graphics and framerate already set to minimum on Z5. Location data also turned off.

I own compatible Z3+,Z3, Z3c and Z3 tablet but also a bunch of other devices. Sony artificially limiting me to use Remote Play on just Xperias. As an owner of PS4/PSN customer I hate this policy. Come on, certainly it should be reconsidered let PS4 owners to choose where and how they gonna play.

Playing online/multiplayer the connection can be really bad even though my bandwidth is supposed to be 50Mb/s. Still, it has definitely improved which is really good. Thank you. Keep improving the app...

Was just using this no problem over thanksgiving weekend...now it won't load... Signed out on app and now when I go to sign in just a plain whit screen shows and never loads sign in page!!

I often get 'Internet speed is too slow' message, but when it eventually connects it works fine. This is on my LAN, why does my Internet speed matter, surely this sound just be a direct connection? I also tried the direct connection option in remote play settings on the PS4 and channing resolution in the app.

It dint work at first had some trouble connecting then i noticed I had 28 updates to do now works fine I love it on me sony xz graphic are rilly good thanks sonny I just got rid of iPhone to get this phone Sony xz is a lot better then all iPhones by far

Handy for a quick game if you don't have access to a TV. Not good for serious gaming where timing is essential or when dying will cause serious problems with progression.

It looks okay on the face of it but I'm having an issue where my DS4 works fine on my Z2 but when I connect to my PS4 with remote play the DS4 stops working. It is still paired but the only way I can navigate and play is with the on screen controls.

I can see why busy households would use this app as it frees up the TV. I wish games would utilise this app however. Like allowing for a map or something to be displayed instead of just mirroring game play similar to what the Gamecube did with the Gameboy.

Linked ps4 to Sony xperia x. Works OK if I use the buttons on my phone as a controller. When I turn on my actual ps4 controller it works OK moving between the different accounts but as soon as I choose an account it loses connection immediately.

well sold my sony xperia z5 now upgraded to samsung galaxy s7 edge so app not gonna work now sony need to move with time and just let it work for most android phone and tablets but if they dont not gonna miss it might buy its working most phone

Have 270mb wired and every time it states cannot connect to my Xperia XZ speed is to low. No wonder why Apple and Samsung are killing Sony at least their apps work
