PlayStation Messages - Check your online friends

I can see messages for alot of people, but some messages I can't read. It says I get them, but doesn't show the message when I open their name. I haven't found a way to report this issue. I've re-installed and cleared cache. It's only doing it for the app.

Incredibly glitchy. Doesn't always says if someone's online or not even if I'm in a party with them, takes a very long time to load conversations and send and receive messages. And keeps freezing for me whenether I have it open for more than a minute.

Why in God's name do I need 3 different apps for my PlayStation? Like seriously don't is too big for stupid stuff like this.

This app in a way is not needed as it should be self contained in the PlayStation app itself instead op separate to make things smoother but the fact that now it won't let me even sign in to the messages app is a joke but the PlayStation one is fine. Good app when it worked would of been better without the issues of signing in

Why on earth make this a seperate application, the playstation app alone could and can have playstation messages integrated this would be more beneficial and certaintly professional.. would remove the hassle that comes with the two separate app's.

App won't sign in. Effectively useless. Psn messenger on console is standard at best. WhatsApp is better and it's not even on my ps4. No way to report the horrendous amount of spam messages, which you will get.

It's okay. The main problem I have with it is that you can't delete messages at all. They really need to work on that.

The latest update is a huge improvement, it used to be so slow and clunky. I couldn't care less about sharing music/stickers but it's heaps faster and smoother now, which is great.

STILL doesn't load messages after the new update. I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. This has been going on all year. I get the message alert, but it's blank...

Why do I need a separate app for messages when I didn't before? It's kind of annoying that I have to install and move between three different apps (PlayStation app, PlayStation messages app, and PlayStation communities app). I'd rather just keep the regular PlayStation app for flash sales and do everything else on my PS4.

Used to work, not anymore. Keep telling me to sign in and when I do, it doesn't work and tells me to sign in again. Reinstalling the app doesn't fix it.

This would be So much better if you could join party's from your phone. If your on the go, you can talk to your friends without having go have your PlayStation on

The app has a great concept and is somewhat useful, but is bugged in mnay ways. For example, messages (even on good wifi) can take up to 15 minutes to send, furthermore messages that are sent can send multiple times, rearange in order etc. Lastly, pictures take 20 seconds to load at least which is ridiculous

I don't know what this new update did but it is so fast now, it boots up in like 2 seconds. Great job guys.

When I sometimes receive a message, I can never read the message because it's loading. The thing is that it never loads and the only way for me to fix that is to reinstall the app.

It would be much much better if you add a last seen under the friends It will be helpful to see it on my phone then turn the ps4 just to see when they signed off Please do it please

The fact that the playstation app is deconsilidated to 2 different apps is a pain in the hole, please just have one app.

Couldnt you just put this with the ps app and have it all install rather than doing it in two bits?

Messages won't load, and sometimes trying to search for a players takes ages or sometimes won't even show up. This is terrible.

I like the app but it say I texted 2hours ago when I didn't and why download stickers like TF man

I like it but the new update has lag and won't let me message a part from that this is the best

I wasn't able to sign in for the past week in both massenger and the PlayStation app. It keeps telling me connection timed out. Tried everything and still not signing me in. Any solution to that ?

My only issue is sometimes I won't receive my clans chat or the inbox would be empty, even though I had gotten messages.

Its doesn't work when i go to app its say sign in to psn when i press it nothin happen

Should have gotten an Xbox. I purchased a game system twice it saw so slow I thought it was broken. PS4 Pro highest internet speeds. Xbox is Microsoft PS operating system is wack

This app only works once you've already started a conversation with someone. There's no way to start a conversation with a random player. Which defeats the purpose of this app.

App keeps losing connection 1 star until it gets fixed

It doesn't work, each time I got continue it loads then wants me to hit continue again and does the same thing over and over

This must be Integrated with the playstation app And be able to delete conversations for good and not just leave

Why the Playstation app redirects you to download an entirely separate app for messaging I'll never understand... but at least it works.

The friends tab isn't showing everything properly. Some text is getting cut off. Otherwise, works well!

Stupid that you need 2 apps for MESSAGING AND NOTIFICATIONS

Doesnt not refresh all the time, can not turn off notifications within the app. Any time the app is updated you have to sign back in even tho the app knows your psn name

The app is decent, but misses alot of features. You can not even mass delete groups/messages. Which is a huge problem considering all the spam I've received in the past. It's 2017, every messaging app I use has an option like I explained above. Please consider this and add it as soon as possible. We don't need stickers but decent and useful updates.

Please don't let your kids use this app. I just got a random chat invite and the person was trying to make me click on their website. Please do add a way to report players who are using the chat in a wrongful manner. I wanted to report this incident using the psmessage app but couldn't. I'm not even sure how the person got my psn or invited me into a chat.

I love this app but I won't honestly be happy with messaging until we can finally send videos, something I've been asking for for years. And now we can share music? BUT STILL NOT VIDEOS ARE YOU KIDDING ME

There seems to be a glitch for maybe the Honor 8 but I can't get out off the loop of the app constantly telling me to sign in. After tapping the sign in option, it disappears and then reappears with no progress. It goes on and on, reinstalling the app didn't fix it. Please do address this problem.

Not bad but sometimes I'll get a notification and then when I go to the app there is no new message. Also, sometimes I'll tap on a notification and the app will tell me that I cannot read the message because I've already left the group?
