Traveling with kids today is certainly easier than it used to be, thanks to portal DVD players, mobile game systems, IPods and the like, but young children still have a lot of energy they need to get rid of when they are stuck in the car for long periods of time.
Wouldn't it be nice to know, when those rumblings for the next meal come from the back seat, you would know where the closest restaurants with play areas for kids are? So they can get that excess energy out, since you have to stop anyway??
What about when that "I gotta go potty!" comes from back there? How far did that sign say the next rest area was? Even if you do remember, how many miles ago did you pass that sign? Do I need to get off the interstate? Or is the next rest area just around the bend? And more importantly, does it have a bathroom?
As a parent of a small child myself, my answer was absolutely yes!!! Which is why I wrote this app.

DO NOT BUY THIS APP. Drove from Colorado to Chicago with my 2 kids. All it lists is fast food restaurants, none of which has play places. Went to 6 of the McDonalds. NONE had play places. If I wanted fast food I could have googled for free or looked at any one of the 10000 road side signs. This app is a joke.

Fantastic idea for an app and the content is sorely needed. But this data is severely limited. First it only shows McDonald's, Chick-fil-A, Chuck E Cheese, Burger King, and Rest Stops. Second, that data is inaccurate. Drove out of our way for a McDonald's that didn't exist. Additionally, there is no way to quickly find yourself on the map. A "find me" button is sorely needed. Don't waste your money on this one. Save that dollar for a coffee you can get at a McDonald's you can find on Google completely free.

Great app! I have used it on 3 road trips so far to stop with my daughter so that she can eat AND get some exercise. Only thing that would make it better would be to be able to put your route into the app and only show play places along the route. Thanks for a wonderful and practical app!

5 out of the 5 mcds we stopped at did not have playplaces. So what's the purpose of this app? Try renaming it "the fast food app" since it has nothing to do with play places. Really freaking annoying when you're traveling with antsy kids who need to run around. Thanks for taking my money and not giving me what was promised.
