5* - Best tablet task app yet. Fantastically polished and easy to use, fully syncs with Google (but only if you want to). Best task management app I've found to date.

5* - I just got my tablet and wanted a task app that would sync with gtasks. I tried another one and it didn't support labels very easily unlike Platinum that works great. The dashboard is customizable. It's very polished and beautiful app and functions very well.
Platinum Tasks is an advanced task manager (to do list) to help you easily manage your day to day activities through a beautifully-designed, intuitive interface optimised for Android tablets (3.0+), ensuring that you will never miss another business meeting, birthday, anniversary, or even forget the milk! Syncs with your Google Tasks in Gmail account or Google Apps account so your to do list is always up-to-date.
With Platinum Tasks you can:
• Easily create one off or recurring tasks, from daily chores to yearly reminders of birthdays & anniversaries.
• Label your tasks according to preset categories such as Work, Meetings and Personal or create your own labels.
• Create complex projects containing multiple tasks, with set time limits & deadlines.
• Filter items by time, name & label, or search to quickly find a specific task.
• Archive and un-archive completed tasks using the drag & drop interface.
• Customise the look of your interface by choosing from five different colour themes.
• Synchronise your Google Tasks task list automatically so you're always up-to-date, whether on your computer or your Android Tablet.
• View your tasks without even launching the app using the widget included.
The great drag-and-drop functionality you're used to with the Gmail application has been implemented in Platinum Tasks so you can easily drag & drop any task from one label into another & archive (or unarchive) tasks.
Tasks can also be synchronised with Google Tasks (just link your account on the settings page) so everything is backed up in the cloud & you have peace of mind that you're not going to lose things.
We're currently working on:
- Complete tasks directly from the widget
- Export task lists
- New help screen
- Sync with Google Calendar

Looking for Google Tasks, Gtasks, Any.do, Wunderlist or a great task manager or to do list to help manage your tasks for today, tomorrow or one day, well Platinum Tasks will help with getting things done on your Android Honeycomb or ICS 4.0+ tablet.
This app is a fantastic idea and a good implementation, but it could've been better with the ability to customise. Such as to resize and replace list modules. Also it'd be nice to filter task lists as all non project tasks show in One Day. Plus it doesn't seem to support indented/child tasks, which Google tasks supports. It's a cool idea, but having multiple Tasks widgets on the homescreen offer the same functionality but with more customization. The one thing I really wanted from this app is project management, taking multiple Google Tasks, linking them by dependency, to see project workflow. The way the app treats projects is confusing, they seem no different to lists. If the projects allowed you to link tasks by dependency, show Gantt chart, but leave the individual task as a Google Task. This app would be mind blowing.
follow-up on previous review. just found out how to delete projects. accessible from the dashboard.
...but currently designed more as a standalone app, because it doesn't play well with other Todolist Apps (project folders are local only, synced google todolists are 'folders', meaning everything is filed under both), which would be a requirement since this app doesn't support phones. Surprisingly sluggish UI.
Texts are cut, buttons merged together and so on... Not usable for me
All of the text is cut off
An sich eine gute Idee und ein guter Ansatz. Leider ist die App dermaßen langsam, dass ich dort nie etwas eintrage. Leider ein kompletter Fehlkauf! Für das Konzept gibt es einen Stern...
First off all would like to say the customer support they give is really really great. I would like to give my personal thanks to Mr. Dave who was supporting me to optimized the software under 7" tablet. This is the perfect software which i was looking for my day-today work. 5 Stars. You got my recommendation on this software.
Even though I bought this App months ago, it recently keeps thinking that I never purchased this. This is scam, don't spend your money on this! Tablet: ASUS Transformer Prime
I've been looking for a good task organizer app. This is the best I have seen. I really like the ability to organize tasks by project, label and date and to see them all individually. Sync with Google Tasks works very well. I had a question for the developer and received a very quick response. It would be even better if it had a desktop or browser companion app.
Frankly I expected alot more from a paid app. Especially when it came from the top of the Staff Picks list. Because of the lack of fully syncing with Google calendar it's just not that useful to me on a daily basis. A calendar view it's a must. Basic skinning would be n nice a well. In fact nothing that wasn't created in this app has been pulled in from Google calendar. Meetings not pulled in when syncing to Google calendar. Nothing ever showing under Archive (don't even know what should be there). It does run smooth under ICS on my Transformer Prime. I'll leave it installed and keep checking back for updates.
Not a bad app but to much work to be efficient.
The interface is very well made, user friendly and beautiful in design, I love using this to manage all my projects.
EDIT: The majority of the flaws spotted have now been fixed with the latest update. Just need to fix the Forthcoming list as nothing is showing to make this a 5* application. Its a great app with impressive visuals that is still simple to use.
This app has promise with a great dashboard but is lacking on the finer detail and needs more work. currently using GTASKS. Found it to be easier to configure and use.
I would like to see tasks under project to be able to prioritize into the order I wanted. Hopefully it can happen soon.
Good todo list
Best to do list
I plan to spend more time with this application as I'm hoping this is "the one" for me. The idea that it syncs with Google Tasks was a seller for me. The first stop I made after install was straight to settings. At a glance there seems to be quite a bit of label customization. After closer inspection, editing labels is easy and straight forward. I happen to have multiple Google Accounts for personal and business use. Seeing the section header, Sync Accounts, gave me hope that I could sync up with all my accounts. Unfortunately, I am only able to sync with one account. Perhaps the developer(s) could change the heading from "Sync Accounts" to "Sync Account" or make it clear as to how to add another account since I don't see it a way to do it. Moving on ... I added a "Test Project" and created " tasks001, tasks002" within the project. Basically a container for my tasks. What I found while testing is that I can create tasks that exceed the deadline of "Test Project". Perhaps the developer(s) could change it so that tasks within a project can not have deadlines past the project's deadline. Also, needs the Projects' tab needs a time line view. Dev's if you want more... just email me.
Very cool user interface with the dashboard view. Good optiona available to customize. Keep up the development I love it!
Great frame but needa to add features... I loved the one box and projects but synching to to a single google account is not enough... There should be the option to sync each project to different google account is highly desirable. A calendar view for a overview also would be very helpful.
Gets 5 * when there is a resiseable widget
I have tested, literally, dozens of task apps. This is the one for me. Syncing with Google is the most important feature. To get 5 stars I need to be able sync with multiple Google accounts.
By the time I figured it wouldn't work for me refund not available. Does not look good on nexus 7. Too crowded by large icons that take up more priority than text that needs displayed such as description of task. Too many windows displayed at the same time. Repeating task not user friendly. Some things are due on the Thursday of each month some are every other day some are exactly every 30 days. I need to see task that are due grouped and organized by project on the main screen. I expected a much better app
Works great for getting everything out of my head, but would love to be able to prioritize project tasks. I was also hoping to be able to make reoccurring tasks and checklists.
I really enjoy this app, however it crashes when I try to spell check. EDIT Update: Needs Spell Check and a less ugly cumbersome widget and it would be great
EDIT: Nice application, and works excellently. Certainty a must have! I was having a few problems at first, and gave a lower review. I was contacted by customer support, and they worked things through. After sending me an .apk of the latest release, which resolved the issues, they pushed these updates to the Play Store. Really fantastic to see such a high level of care for users!
So for a very long time I have tried to get my life organized. I have downloaded and tried many many to do applications, bought a Filofax, but nothing was good enough. The interface is very important for me, because if I don't like looking at an app, I won't be using it. Many free to do apps have a very simple, but an ugly interface. I was reluctant to pay for this because of the comments about licenses, but I have decided to go for it because of the comments about the great tech support. I am glad I did. This is the most amazing app ever. I love the interface, I love that dashboard thingy, I love the way there is a One Day option. And one great big novelty of this app is the project option. I have never really done anything similar, but now some of my everyday tasks have become projects and I love to see that % bar fill up :-) All in all, I recommend this app to everyone and anyone, you will not be sorry you paid. P.S. The different colour schemes are great, I wish there was a purple one *hint hint
I LOVE this app. It's easy to use, the layout is easy to understand at a glance and it gets the job done very well. I can't wait to see what the future holds for it.
After installation, I made a text task with due date of Jan 2013 and set an alarm as well. The moment u saved it, it started flooding my notifications bar with alerts....one after the other. I had to kill it from my task manager to stop those alerts. Applying for refund now :(
I like the UI, but text looks kinda small on my nexus 7 as my parents can't read the writing. It would be more awesome if it could sync with Google calendar to sync birthdays.
Great app. I think this app should have higher than a 3.5 stars. I looked for a long time for task managing APS and this one fits the bill perfectly for work projects/tasks and home. Great app. Would be nice to see in future updates ; subtasks within tasks and portrait view option. Great app.
Overall I enjoy the app but it is really awkward to use on a 7 inch tablet and would love the option for both portrait and landscape mode.
Need to be able to define priority level, hour and many other things
Wish I could better customise the dashboard. Resize and reposition lists. Also the ability to repostion items within a list, I don't use time-event based tasks, I use the calendar for that. Also it'd be nice to take off upcoming etc from dash as it just takes space. I see it doesn't seem to support indented/child tasks, which Google tasks supports. It's a cool idea, but Tasks widgets on the homescreen offer the same functionality but with more customization.
Tried it on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7", it might be a good program on a larger tablet, but absolutely unusable on a 7". It will only do landscape orientation, which means that when typing, you can't see what you are doing any lower than the upper 1/4 of the screen, because the keyboard covers it. That makes it garbage and unusable for me. Want more? everyone that says the font is too small is absolutely correct. Fields are too small, making them difficult to select. At first glance, this program looks really good, so I got suckered into the $5 cost. Save the money if you have a 7" tablet and move on to something else.
I bought this for more than 6 months. Task changed in Google Calendar. Widget still do not automatically update for 3 days now. This should be a great task management tool.
at first it was all good, then i noticed it was duplicating tasks...over and over again for no reason..not set to repeat just annoying. shame
Gets 5 * when there is a resiseable widget
Alows for alot of layers and details, best app ive found so far for organizing my busy schedule
by Q####:
I *really* like this app. Another reviewer was disappointed in how the display looked in the Nexus 7 (also what I have) but the developer has updated the app. It looks VERY nice on my Nexus 7. Yes the text is small, but it IS a 7-inch tablet. Seeing how I can organize my tasks (today, upcoming, one day, projects, personal, work, etc.) has given me ideas on how to better organize the things I need to take care of so I will hopefully forget less and stop procrastinating as much. The widgets let you display tasks based on what you need to do today or what's coming up, or you can have widgets that show your task list (as you created them in gmail) or you can show tasks associated with a tag/label. This just might be my much needed solution to a disorganized life. My only issue is that sometimes the app doesn't respond to my taps on the screen and I need to keep tapping to get the app to recognize my actions. Other than that I am loving the app and look forward to future updates. // Edit: apparently adding a label creates a gmail tasks list that has the title of that label. I was hoping the label system and list names would be mutually exclusive. Still, I love the app!
