I have lost many headsets in the past, only to realize I misplaced them several days or weeks later. I have used this app to find my headset several times. 3 at home and found so quickly and one time I left in a restaurant and location showed me where it was. Great app

As long as battery is not dead it will definitely help you locate it. All Bluetooth ear pieces should have a beacon to locate!! Maybe go off in ear when leaving phone like older motos

Found my M70 and displays battery life but can't access the app itself for the other features. Just get the message that that "the Bluetooth device could not be found" and then I can either try locating it again or exiting the app. Uninstall reinstall didn't work. Please fix and it would definitely get a 5 from me

Does not work with my new Explorer 100 and Samsung S4. Says "No plantronics Headset detected". And yes the E100 is paired and on. Edit: Even though the quick start guide says to download the app, after checking further, the E100 is not listed as compatible.

I love my bluetooth but somehow im always losing it but this app does what it says. .its actually loud enough that you can locate your bluetooth in about 45 seconds without tearing up the house or car. All you need to do is send the tone you choose to your bluetooth and listen for the tone playback thru your bluetooth .....the tone maybe annoying but works wonderful, lol.

I usually leave it in my work bag until I get home then I sit it on my night until I get ready to go back to work. Some how it got knocked behind my night stand the day before which I thought I took it to work but I didn't. I'm glad my phone connected to it because that's how I knew it was near. This app helped me because I wouldn't have thought to look on the floor behind my stand

I had lost my headset (missing 5 days) and was searching online for a replacement when I stumbled across this wonderful, awesome app!! Thank you so much and God Bless whoever made this app!! Wish I had something like this for my cell phone, keys and many other things that I misplace often!! :-)

I am dependant on the unit to avoid provoking sharp upper back injury pain. I only wish locator sound level could be turned up and GPS tracking ability for current position (while either off or on) would be made available.

Every time I do something with this app, my headset dies. From 5 hrs of battery life to unresponsive. I have to hook it up to the charger to bring it back to life. I'm uninstalling this app until this is addressed. What good is an app to find my headset if the app kills my headset? No es bueno.

Wasted half an hour looking for my Bluetooth headset. I could see it connected to phone but couldn't locate it. This app located it. Two caveats. Ensure the volume is maxed on both your phone and the app's blue slider bar.

Totally worthless app. The 5 star reviews must be from the devs family and friends. My volume is as loud as it will go on my legend and when a tone from this app is sent to it you can only hear the tone when the headset is in your ear. So if you lose your headset and didn't know it was in your ear already then you can find it. But lose it off your ear then you are screwed because you can't hear the tone unless your headset is in your ear.

Didn't work at all if you don't have music streaming turned on in your headset, and no way to turn it on remotely. Useless. Add a way to reboot you headset remotely and I will give it 5 stars

Found my device after 23 minutes. Although this worked better than blasting metal on Pandora, but it would have been easier if the lights strobed from, say, blue and red. I looked in the backyard in the dark a few times thinking that I'd both see it and hear it, but no lights actually go off. Very thankful for the app, though!

It works really good if you have the earpiece on. I just wish it was a little louder or possibly built with a small LED that could flash. The other option would be to show you where it is relative to where you're standing. I understand that would be not only more cost and difficult but just my thoughts. Overall it's a great app that does what it says. Just needs an option to make it work like a speaker phone so it's loud.

The sound coming from the headset isn't super loud, so you have to listen well. For the size of a headset, its not like they can put a really loud speaker in it. Helped me find my headset that I probably wouldn't have found for quite some time(I wouldn't have found it, but stumbled across it at a much later date). It would be perfect if I could also use the headset to find my phone.

I had its predecessor, so it took a little time getting used to the new buttons. the only drawback is I haven't figured out which button to push or hold it twice in order to, voice command my contacts by name. Otherwise I love it. IT's the only bluetooth that actually has great noise reduction for background and my friends and family can understand what I'm saying clearly sometimes better than my phone' mic. I also got a great deal at Office Depot by having them match the price I found on Amazon for $57.

Plantronics always makes really good headsets. I've used them in the office and just bought a M70 Bluetooth. The quality is amazing, as I expected and this app makes it even better. It works. And does work well. I will never use any other Bluetooth as long as Plantronics keeps making good hardware and software.

If the earpiece is not next to your ear then you will not hear the tone. If its out of range of your phone, it will not receive the tone. All it will do is place it on a map at the last point the headset and phone connected. That will be of little use in finding it, but you'll use battery resources to have the map/gps running to make the record. Turn off your gps, and then the mapping function will be useless. So nice idea, but very poor execution.

After losing a previous headset only to discover it ran over in the driveway, I decided to try this app. Now, I find it everytime. Backtrack works as well as sending a tone. I've already saved a potential $120 in losses. Haven't lost another headset yet.

The headset was buried under stuff and I had looked for 30 minutes or more. Tried several "finder" apps and nothing worked. Downloaded this, sent a tone to the headset and less than 3 minutes later, I found it. A quiet environment and good hearing helps.

The tone I sent from my phone was SO LOW, that until I found it visually, there was no sound coming from the headset at all. Once I found it, I tested it, and after a few tries, I could hear a sound when I held it to my ear. Is there any way you can fix it to be able to be louder? Otherwise can I do anything to make it louder? I have a Voyager Edge. Came with no earhooks. Very nice and great app idea, but it's just a matter of time, before it's gone. I will have to find the right earhook, if possible,

I live with Plantronics ear piece in my ear... When I take it off for some reason I always misplace it. I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have this app to find it. Best investment I ever made. Thank you.... Oh and by the way it was my children's idea and they all have one...

I wear my bluetooth so much it's almost like an extra appendage when I lose it it's almost like actually losing one of the hands that you could be using to do other things with. Extra long story short I love this app it has saved me many many times. Save me a lot of money also!!!!!

Every other app installed did not work. 3days of searching. So glad i found this one, one the manufacturer made. Headpeice found. It worked. Thankyou So Very Much! Much appreciate all your effort in creating and maintaning this Free app. Going that extra mile for "extra" service that others dont. After service is as good as the item. Impeccable

Decent app. I saw one complaint about it not being loud enough, this app has no control over the speaker output of your earpiece. From 5ft away I can hear it fine, the tone of it makes it distinguishable over the dishwasher and my 2 daughters (4 & 6 yes old). Not to bad for a tiny speaker that fits in your ear. I do wish that there was an easier way to turn off the app, I just get in the habit of doing a force close to the app if I don't want it running in the background. Overall a useful app.

Sometimes the history is missing. I don't know if that is my cleaner app removing that data or not. Would be nice if the history data could be stored to the cloud. The sound tone is very faint but given the small size of the blue tooth speaker what can be done. Perhaps platonic needs to design a blue tooth with built-in locating features. An external pinging speaker ? GPS built into the blue tooth ?? Maybe each time the headset disconnects out of range the marks is last location.

It took less than a minute to locate my headset after installing it! My 3 year old had left it in the corner of the living room floor and if I had not found it my puppy definitely would have! It worked great! Thanks, Krystle

Sending a tone to help find your headset works well in a fairly quiet environment. This won't work in a noisy area. Backtrack could be useful as it tells you on a map where it was active last. Of course this wont help much of you be lost it in your house.

Great app!! I use it almost daily. Have found headsets twice when dropped or put down in a store (because it was transmitting the search tone, I knew to keep looking, even when I couldn't see the headset or hear the tone). Would like option for tone to be MUCH louder though - at least double the current volume - as even very moderate sound in your surroundings makes it barely audible.

If head phones turn off automatically after 2 days and remain misplaced, this app will not find them. Control test was done with the headset in front of me--headset was on, then remained on top of table for 2 days, and was undiscoverable by the app, even when standing next to them.

It asks me to connect my Bluetooth Plantronics headset over & over & it's connected! That's as far as the app goes. My Backbeat Fit is connected to my Samsung. I'm removing the app because it's worthless for me. Update: tried again today Sept. 16th & still does not work. Fix it!!!!

Found my headset in 3+ minutes...IN THE LAUNDRY...on laundry day! I never check each piece before washing, just shove it all into the front loader. That was a close call. Thank you!

Many times has this app saved me money by helping me find my Bluetooth so quickly and easily. One time the Bluetooth was in my washing machine before the washing machine was turned on. It was inside a tablecloth that was about to be washed. The app found my bluetooth super quick. Similar stories of happened many other times.

I don't understand how anyone could possibly hear if you're not standing right next to it..... In testing it, I finally had to walk up to it and put my ear down to hear it..... Such a wonderful idea but it only works if you know where it is....... The above was written the other day while I was looking for a Plantronics Voyager Edge could not hear it at all unless you had your ear to it today I was using my Plantronics marquee 2 and it was wonderful found it in seconds.

Found headset buried under mud after a full night of rain. Use this app all of the time and it never fails. LG, Samsung and now HTC on Verizon.

Not fair but wish it would hack the power selector to have it turn on by itself to sound the alarm. But even with it off the last location with call history helped me, so...5 stars.

I tried all 3 sounds and all are difficult to detect unless I'm holding the device.

Located headset in coat pocket of hall closet. Had to remember where i had it as alert not bery loud

As in my work its common that the headset can fall of and not realising. If I wouldn't have this app I would off had to buy a new headset multiple times.

App does everything it promised. I couldn't find my headset after a rough night, sent a sonar ping and found it under some clothes and I was gone before anyone woke up and I was in a pretty large house walking around looking for it. Thank God I left it on! It would be awesome if you could find some way to remotely activate it because if its off ur S.O.L
