G-Stomper Studio for Android
So far so good
Finally. This app actually is a real DAW for Android. It's set up right. It's basicly drum and a synth workstation with routing effects and a master out section. I do not think this is an audio editor, slicer. But you can manipulate sounds really well. I was not able to figure if I could combo the synth, to send one note to more then one instance of the synth and play multiple sounds.
It's the love of my life, so to speak. I can't go a day without using this app. It's literally one of the best music producing apps I've had the pleasure of using.
Hi can you implement a DAW like sequencer like FL Studio 12 where you can insert patterns and bars into individual tracks. I don't like your method of selecting bars. It would be easier to insert a drum loop in track one, bar loop in track two, synth loop in track three and son on. This would make producing a full song easily. Please introduce a DAW track so we could insert patterns on a time line. This would make the app one of the best.
Fun any easy to create loops on the go. The built in sounds and the very flexible synth work great! Also possible to piece together whole songs, but I find that part a bit tedious on a phone screen. Be sure to watch the developer's tutorial videos to help get a grasp on the UI.
Would be good to have a step by step tutorial with pop up text boxes linked to each button with an arrow to get you going. The tutorials are good but I can't have both up on my phone.
I've been impressed with the features and how good things sound. And the developers are always adding new functionality--a major plus! Worth the money, for sure.
Fancy
Better than before more quality sound I had a prob when I update I couldn't hear nothing but I jus turned my phone off an back on. keep up the good work I respect what y'all doing an everybody I told about g stomper can't leave it alone
Love it
DEVZ THIS IS WAY COOLER THAN YOUR FREE ONES, AWESOME, TO DA' MAX!!!! SUPER KIND, THANKS FOR MAKING THIS ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE!!!! GOOD LOOKIN' OUT FOR THE small guyz.ⁿt.HeMiX!!! U-kno!!? <¿¡>°°°{YeeHaa-hahaha! 2MUCH FUN!!? Well, never too much, I hope cause I am!!? I am just an old Tripped Out Fan of Sid Barrett's Pink Floyd, Tangerine Dream, Janne Michelle Jarre and Frank Zappa's!!? And, a First Chair Tuba Player in Jr. & Sn. High School, and then just played Doumbeks & Jembes Backpacking & Hitch-hiking across the country!!! I wish i had one of these, instead of strapping a 16"inch Headed, BIG CONGO Drum to my, already 100lb., Backpack.... I never saw how the music of the future would BE made w/instuments so lite... So, now I just flashed on the topic of: "what next, in the world of music!?" ta ta tap tap tippity tap!!? I Just thought of a Cool Android algorythm for EVAi, that gets the Ai to attempt either a random eDrum mixography of it's own original style, or add a setting to partially or totally specified style type, or genera of Electro-Beatz patterns to<766⅞777 spontaneously play, in a format meant to be a front-lock screen saver moded app, w/ a Visualizer/Ai Random Mix!?!? Could be a Tool for for players stuck in a certain oldwith the Ai groove, or new players to get some random inspirational Help towards Finding their still hidden to them New Style or subtle direction to use as a type of practice of either dubbing or grooving together w/ the Ai!!? As you both try to Harmonize or Groove within a fresh new Beat never heard before till that point of Sharing in a, I think in a deeper way, than the sharing of awkward words!? Like these, for example, but it is an idea to truly diversify the Ai's connection to our spontaneously and unpredictable human aspects!? Hmm... Maybe call it: "R.A.i.ndom Rhythmz" or, "R.A.I.DICAL RHYTHM"!? Anyone can have this idea!?;Thanks Again!!?
Good for Trap/Rap makers
A good app. The midi interface can be tricky. I'm using an axiom midi controller, it doesn't like the drum pads and the effects dials too much. Other than that it's a sick program. Lots of nice patches to learn.
Awesome app with powerful internal tools for both studio musicians and those on the go. I havent had a chance to work with the midi integration yet but have high hopes!
Really sweet app for making some beats and tunes. There's drums, synths, filters, equalizers, and a bunch of functions to add dynamics to your composition. I have a 2.2 Ghz phone so I'm only able to use like 1/3 of the app's capability. I use 6 different drums and 5 synth tracks. I'm hoping with time, a really powerful smartphone will come out that will allow maximal use of the app. But yeah! I love this app.
I've tried a lot of them lately, and this is shaping up to be the hands-down most useful and full featured music creation app on android. Perhaps not for the faint of heart, but can genuinely integrate well in a production workflow bw mobile & PC.
This is a beautiful looking app with so many very versitile tools. Truly a masterpiece in mobile music production software.
Oddly enough I'm getting much lower latency with the built in headphone jack than with external usb audio device. Definitely usable when using built in audio under lollipop. Needs mute groups on the sampler. A pretty standard feature. But this is the warmest fattest thickest synth engine I've heard on Android. Sampler section is powerful. You can make huge drumkits. Edit: Micro-steps! Yaaaaaaay!! Humanize! Yaaaaaay!!
A complete system linked from every possible angle to the point where you can isolate specific sounds in the mix, and apply any effect or adjustments imaginable. Just try the demo you'll see. Easyily worth the money, a pc program of this quality would top $300 easy.
Very Awesome & Also very cool App. & Of course I bought the studio. Music controls my mind!!!!!
Incredible
Best app I've ever used on Android for music. I found the intro video got me using it in no time, and it's well worth the money. Sample sets are great, you can tweak your sounds, editing is easy and the screen UI is clean and well thought out.
G-Stomper Studio, in my opinion, is the best recording tool of its kind. Imperfections are constantly addressed with regular updates unlike many in the competition. The documentation and tutorials are abundant. It really looks great and every feature is well displayed (As a professional musician the UI really matters to me as I need one that doesn't strain the eyes after staring at the screen for a long time). It's a gem on a tablet as everything looks like hardware. The rhythm machine is as close as you'll get to a TR-808 or 909 in an app. The mixer is one of the coolest I've seen on software. Most importantly it sounds great and helps you create music efficiently. Last but not least the developer listens and even cares about what we say in the reviews. I spent my money on this with no hesitation. Keep up the good work.
First off this is wonderful. I love it. Really thankful for passionate people creating this platform. No serious though, I could do way better. Any job openings.. j/k lol. Great work????
Best app for making beats and songs on Android. Works on my phone and my old Nook HD+. I'm barely scratching the surface but all the tools are there. THANKS PROGRAMMERS. I paid and it's worth it.
i have been a huge fan for years now, and i have to say that this latest update is Phenominal. The new drum parameters with velocity and micro step etc... the fx layout, the complete control of just.. Everything. --Constantly updated Constantly Wicked.-- Right now i have no addon packs installed, and found myself two hours deep, only five sounds, and Absolutely Loving it.
I really love this app, is by far the best DAW out there in my opinion. I think its a versatile tool for anyone that is always moving around, but that also wants a studio-ready station to work on. On my own experience the app has taken the place of my physical gears with its very intuitive modules (although at first there is a slightly learning curve), the possibilities are endless. Recommended. Yet I want to suggest to add (or tell me how to do it if it is already implemented) the ability to record live steps like those found on Akai MPCs or Korg volcas, so I could use the Sample Drum Pads view and 'drum' by hand so the sequencer could quantize and loop my input.
Once you learn how to use it, there's no stopping you, the patterns, songs, etc. all go straight to your music app , so you can jam your own beats. Only app I can stay on for hours and hours. Get it!
I enjoy making music with Gstomper the platform is easy to use and makes sampling so much simpler. A perfect rating plus 3 stars in my opinion.
Awesome at what it does, super easy to learn the basics, but lots to learn and figure out. Love the UI, very intuitive. VERY NICELY PRICED WAY BELOW ITS VALUE. 10 bucks for all this? Kray kray... Now let me say this. I hadn't written any music in years. Fast forward to about 3 or 4 months ago and have been back at it like I was when I was much younger. Your app helped me rediscover and embrace the passion I had for it. I thought I had lost it forever. THANK U!!!!! Problems I had have been fixed and it's back to music making frenzy!!! UPDATED: After seeing some comments in the reviews here I have this to say. Show me ANY other program at this price that does what you are asking for. I.e. full fleged DAW work or full fleged MIDI sequencer and I will laugh in your face. 3 star reviews bitching about a 10 dollar app not doing the same work as your 500 dollar plus PC program? Get real. And GTFO. If I could submit multiple 5 star reviews for this product I would in a heartbeat.
Very inspiring, and easy to experiment with new beats on the fly compared to other DAWs. Great workflow!
Long time ago I bought this app but I got overwhelmed by the enormous amount of settings it has so I literally just used it as step sequencer. Now that I have get used to work with DAWs, the app is in fact user-friendly. If is your first time using a DAW, the app comes with few demos that you can use as a start point tweaking here and there and keep going from there. To sum up, it's a very solid mobile DAW. I like the option to use my own set of samples and the ability to export my work to a desktop DAW should I need further detailed tweaking. Considering the amount of features that you get with a single purchase, I think is the best app out there, I highly recommend it to anyone starting in the world of music production.
Need to beep and boop while out and about? This will do the thing well enough to get you back to your boutique hardware and the weird aroma of your home studio.
I love this app... I started to learn how to make beats on this app.... Had a problem fast response... G Stomper Studio is Typsy #1 app used.. P.E.A.C.E.
This app is great! Super fun and easy to use I can't wait to see what I create next! It's got that tr-808 down!
Dope app.. really helps me out with a cheap way to make beats and it has everything you need to make your own noises
Can I record audio and use it in my projects?
if you're serious at all about production on the mobile platform, this is the app to do it in. yes, the UI is a bit cluttered and daunting at first, but after an hour you'll be creating arrangements in no time. definitely worth the money. the only irk i have doesnt have to do with the product, but with its image. g-stompers name does not imply quality, and neither does the startup page. i understand that graphic design is probably not the developers forte, but i would bet that updating your image would help
There are a few missing features that the grid sequencer desperately needs- the ability to zoom in and out, as well as copy and paste. Without these, working with the sequencer is needlessly awkward and slow.

I downloaded this app about 3 months ago and it's the best app I own. It's a workable daw, it has all the features needed to put together ideas, there's some presets which can be downloaded to get you going, you can produce and record a full song from your phone/tablet with no fuss. I love it, thank you to the developers, you've made a very nice app ( which i'll be using for quite some time in the future ) p.s the synth's alot of fun ;)
