Plan B - Track Lost Phone

Waste of money. Downloaded the app, immediately got the email receipt and then nothing. I know my phone is on so it should be able to find it. All I keep getting is phone not found. Funny, google can find it. Don't waste your money.

Should have listened to the reviews. Apparently only works on android 2.2, IE phones from 2009 or so. Can't get a refund because I can't find my phone.

COMPLETELY USELESS DO NOT BUY. WON'T LOCATE PHONE EVEN WITH LOCATION SERVICES ON. CANNOT BE USED TO TURN ON LOCATION SERVICES REMOTELY.

Never received the Plan B email needed to locate phone, but I got a google Play receipt. The DI Apps website is showing a blank page.

Did nothing and I'm sorry I paid for it. Use Lookout or even the basic Google security services offered to track your phone, which are both free. This app found nothing for me, even when the free services could. Phone was still stolen and couldn't be gotten back though, so now I'm just out $2. :/

Please DO NOT BUY IT and get fooled and lose your money !!!! It does not work a bit. All it comes up on the website is "Lost Phone Tracked" no other details even though it has options like Time, Latitude, Longitude and Location on google map but you cannot click on them. Also it shows same common map for any phones and the map is blurred. Its just a trick to get money from you. I need my refund (Though it says you will get the refund if you ask for it within 2 hours of installation, there was no way I could ask for a refund available as the review option became available to me a few minutes ago. You do get an option of clicking on the home page which takes you back to the screen where you put in either your imei or email address. Thats the only option on the whole bloody page you can click. This developer is a fraud. Does not even bother to reply to greviences.

RIP OFF! This app is not working! There are no instructions! What am I supposed to do??? I got confirmation that your payment went through, but there is no further information. When I open the app there's nothing but a message box that says "Backup Will Send to Your Email". But there's nothing in my email. This is crazy.

I heard a lot of things saying that this app didn't work, but I took the risk and ended up buying it. I was able to locate my phone in a matter of minutes, got an accurate gps location, and now have a great alternative to calling my phone when I lose it in my house and the sound is off. Definitely recommend this.

I had my galaxy s4 stolen 3 days ago so I purchased and installed the app, followed all of the instructions, and only received an email confirming payment. the phone is on and still has everything enabled, and i know someone has it because i can call and it rings - yet i have not received the backup emails or gps locations. i even sent them an email requesting help and i never received a response. tried the developers website and their phone lines dont work. dont waste your time or money.

[See Requirements at end of post] I purchased and downloaded this app [Plan B-Backup] with the intent of testing to see if it's legit. I had my phone in front of me the whole time. I selected which phone to install the app onto, I watched it install by itself. No input needed. Within 16min I received an email at my google account (it was a yahoo email actually) with my gps location and a backup of my contacts, sms, and call log. I opened up the gps location in google maps and it was accurate to where my phone was located. (gps is turned off. I always have my gps turned off). Requirements: You have to know your google account credentials to receive the email. It auto sends but if you can't log in you're SOL. You need data on your account for emails to be sent out. or connected to a WiFi location. If you're going to send txt message commands the phone needs to have cell service and original SIM card. IF YOUR SIM CARD is removed, hope that they haven't removed your gmail account from the play store and that they hit WiFi. The App really does hide after install. Dialing *12345 (hit send button) will unhide the app so that it can be uninstalled Legit app

My new LG G2 was stolen and was at a loss for what to do so I did some research. I read about the "Plan B" app and installed it on my stolen phone from my lap top. I started getting location updates within 30 minutes. Traced the phone to a used tire store that happened to be closed. The person that took it must have worked there. Later that day I received more location updates which showed the phone moved to an apartment complex. I the GPS coordinants into a precise gps location service which lead me right to the exact apartment. After the police were called i got my phone back. The person that took it returned the phone. Great app. There is no way i would have know where the phone was or much less gotten it back without "Plan B". Other apps would not have worked because they give a general location. That would not be close enough in a situation of finding which apartment. Plan B provides the GPS coordinats which took me within just several feet of the phone.

Was able to recover my lost phone. However, the only thing lacking is its inability to provide the phone number of the newly inserted sim. Hopefully they will improve on that

I followed every single step that was shown on the video. I paid the fee and the only email I got was confirming my payment. I had lost my Samsung S4, and had no idea if I misplaced it or somebody took it. I had this put on and with mins I had the GPS LOCATION, which happened to be at a store that I was at and found it at the automotive desk... Thank you for being there PLAN B

Someone please help! I have downloaded this app to find my lost phone. All I have received was a confirmation email to my gmail account and no other information. My phone is still on and yet, no way to access the information, if it is even available. Any advice would be amazing. "Tech support" came back at me with shouty caps...BAD customer service! I have watched the youtube clip and in my apps page, on google play, it reads the app is installed on my device. Grr...

i lost my phone 2 days ago. Good thing was my gmail id was active. with help of developers i able to install this app. after 2days when stolen person connected to internet, i start receiving email with call logs. i got my phone gap. i dont know why people is saying scam, it worked for me. worth my 2$. i even pay 20$ for this. thanks.

This app works. You will need internet on your tracking computer, not necessary for phone being tracked. My phone dropped off my belt on the hill behind my house. To zero in took time, but Plan B FOUND it, to within a 10 meter circle. I hopped on an ATV with a friend and drove to it. Accurate maps are important with any GPS service. The maps that were already loaded on the phone had it 24 miles away in another town. (Boo! Hiss!) Plan B was able to load onto my lost phone and direct me to it. Thanks, Plan B!

I was really in hope that this would help me locate my phone, I was wrong. Its been 2 days and till this day I haven't received an e-mail at all. So I have no hope to get my phone back. Anybody know what I can do?

My car was broken into and my phone was stolen. The guy started using my phone, but with this app the cops were able to track where he lived based on the GPS coordinates and the numbers he called. I also was able to extract all my texts so I didn't lose any important information

I am a little disappointed having followed the instructions and after being told that the app had been installed. I was expecting to receive notification of the GPS coordinate for my lost phone and also backup information Via my Email id as promised, with no such luck. Loosing the phone was bad enough, but loosing the data was worse and getting my hopes up of at least getting it back was a slap in the face. So I defiantly can not recommend this app and suggest that it be pulled until it is fixed or trashed.

YAYYYY! I am soo happy I downloaded this app. I lost my phone in my house (messy messy house) I ripped my couch apart thinking it was there and made the house even more messy before I found this app. I knew it was in the house since I checked my email a few hours prior. I downloaded this app from my computer and it works as it says. I was able to remotely turn the volume up and using my boyfriends phone I found my phone ringing in a cheez-it box (LOL). The GPS wasn't that great though because when I tracked it it looked like my phone was at a gas station I stopped at earlier. Everything else worked perfectly though and I am so glad this app exists or my phone would be in the garbage. Totally worth the $2 even if you only need it to remotely turn the ringer on so u can call it.
