Pi Sight for Android
Unsupported... last updates in 2014
Crashes when I click on anything. Useless.
Every three pics it crashes :(
App crashes if anything other than settings is clicked. App is well thought out but unusable.
I'll see if there is something else. Crashes anytime I try to configure my settings or click anything on the screen. Nexus 6 running marshmallow.
Keeps giving me errors.
I'm using a Nexus 6 on Lollipop. It opens up, but crashes when I tap on anything other than the settings menu.
Keeps giving me errors.
Got this working after installing added python script to Pi. It takes a picture then sends it to device based on "blind" settings. Be good to have live feed, even it it's a few frames/sec also ap will not go into landscape mode so pictures are totally wrong proportionally to screen! As others have said, be good to access more than one Pi.
Finally got round to changing too 5stars ... Great effort ..loads a good updates .. Implenmted nearly all of wat can be ..control wise for picam... Thank u. Its come a long way since my first couple ratings... A WelL deserved 5 stars.......,.I know peeps av said about the security issue in forwarding ports..but ud av that forwarding ports to anything ... Thanks again dev.. I am yetvto test it fully tho..still looking gud
Works great on local wifi on Raspberry pi model A and Galaxy S2
needs stuff downloading / setup on the pi, finally got it working Then it crashes every 2-3 pics - I have to restart the android app Tried the other app raspicam and that works instantly and has video preview. tablet is an Elf, and phone is S3
cool app---IVE NOW CHANGED MY RATING TO 4 STARS.......good comms from DEV. this is because that after i take between 1and 3 pics i have to restart the software.....and yes i do wait actually double the time really needed between pics. i wait 15 secs. u only really need 6-7secs.... as it takes pi this long to take a pic, a time below 6 secs will certainly cause probs for the second pic .forward ports on your router2 acces ur pi cam from over the net..... i would like to see video added.....if possible.......... thanks to dev for adding the vf and hf options, as this was an option that should been there from start.........still if u only get this app if only to look at how the dev goes about using python to control the picam, and take on board to helpu with your own projects...............lot better than a python manual for example......... this app is only limited to whats possible with the picam in python in general. dev cant put feautures in the picam dont support now..... defo 5 stars if issus with crashes is fixed........im using nexus 4,cm11.stable..cwmr....ziddy kernel..if that info makes a difference,????

This app makes it really easy to take images using the Raspberry Pi camera module. Works well over the local WiFi using a Galaxy S3.
