About Koguma
Koguma is a group based location and status sharing application. It's a great way to coordinate meet-ups and events, to find out where your loved ones are, or just to keep in touch.
The service is completely private. You have control over what groups you are in and who you let into the groups that you own. No tracking or sharing of data is conducted. Only your last status and location is stored for sharing with others and you can clear this whenever you like.
We have some UI enhancements and simplification in the works, so if you like the functionality, stand by for further improvements. Koguma is a work in progress.

Frequently Asked Questions
-----------------------------------------
Q: Does Koguma send status and/or position updates when off?
A: No. If you can't see the main map screen, Koguma is not sending updates.
Q: How do I see other people's status?
A: On the main map screen, you are indicated by the green icon and the others in your group by the blue. Tapping any of the blue icons will show that person's status and approximately how long ago their last position was recorded.
Q: How do I create a group?
A: Open the menu on the main map screen and choose the "Manage Groups" option. On this screen open the menu and choose "Create Group".
Q: How do I let others know about my group?
A: On the "Group Administration" screen, long press one of your groups and choose the "Share Group" option.
Q: How do I join a group?
A: If someone has shared group details with you (as above), you can either click directly on the URL and choose to open the link with Koguma, or go to the "Group Administration" Screen, open the menu, choose "Join Group" and enter the "Group Key". This will send a request to the owner of the group.
Q: How do I let someone into my group?
A: Go to the "Group Administration" screen. If any of the groups you own have requests to join, this will be indicated by the blue Koguma icon. Long press the group and choose "Review Requests". You can then approve or deny any requests listed.

Some of the UI and group joining could be streamlined, but it's generally very good.
