What's the point in updating the app when it still doesn't work. I want to use this on my Iconia W3 because unified remote doesn't work correctly but this is supposably written for Acer PCs so WTF

This fix worked for me too thanks to reviewer Hoangvu Nguyen I installed these instructions to my Acer Revo one pc and the app here on the play store to my samsung s6 edge and now they connect fine. 1. Go to acer website 2. Click on "Support" tab 3. Click on "Driver and manual" 4. Find "All in one" in the group column 5. Series will appear and click on "Aspire" 6. Product column will appear go down the list search for "Aspire zc-605" 7. A board will appear under those 3 column select operating system Window -8 cause Win 8.1 doesn't have an update yet 8.Click on application tap-look for "Acer-remote version 1.0.3" download it and install the software.

Please dont download this rubbish...

Doesn't show anything on app screen but icons. I have windows 8 gateway /Acer and it will not connect to it. You would think being Acer laptop it would easily connect. This app is not worth your time. I have uninstalled.

Just installed the acer remote driver on my laptop and it works like magic. Great app. UI could have been much cleaner and smooth though.

Somebody help me to solve the problem..... Is it working on Wi-Fi or Bluetooth?

App is a joke. Force close every time I downloaded it.

But Acer Support literally doesn't even know it exists. Desktop side can have issues after a Windows upgrade...

I really like this app, like the others it did not work not until I read those 5-star reviews to see how will I make it work. Hoping Acer would update the description and include the need to install a desktop version.

Keeps saying the server is false and cant connect. But I can connect my phone to the computer without this app. Using Acer Aspire R7-571

I'm using this app on my Nexus 5 and it can't connect to my Aspire S7 932-9890. My phone is paired with my computer but it says "connection failed". Sorry but had to give 1 start to it!

What's the point if the application if it keeps on running an error? It doesn't even let me connect. The same error over and over... It shuts down, have a decent update please?

Does not work. Can't connect and tapping the back button crashes the app.

My phone and Acer laptop can connect with Bluetooth but the app just says it failed to connect and doesn't work

Kind of laggy but overall better than anything I've tried. Just follow the instructions when installing and you're good to go. :)

Cannot connect. The driver only works for win8, no other OS.

I think it needs a system volume control not just for the media players, what about YouTube?

What's the point? It works, but is so cumbersome to switch screens from pointer to text. My mouse and keyboard (wireless) are far simpler. Maybe it would be good for an entertainment / media console.

My computer connects to my phone, my phone connects to my computer but the app keeps on saying "connection failed, Connect to server is false. Please confirm if the server is running."

I've been trying to make this app work since I bought my U5-610. Acer Support, Philippines is clueless! They couldn't pour "ihi" out of a boot if the directions were written on the heel! If you are receiving the false reading mess. follow his instruction exactly and you too can have your cellphone remote. BTW the software seems compatible regardless the model (it worked for me).

Now when someone else touches my laptop I can simply change it It is awesome

All it dose on the tablet is crash when I conect it then on the phone it wont see the computer my computer has it built in so its not that so fix your app
