About PinPal

PinPal is a bowling scorekeeping application designed to provide bowlers with detailed statistics to help improve their average.

PinPal keeps track of leagues, tournaments, and open bowling, allowing bowlers to view their average, as well as many other statistics.

PinPal also lets you keep track of what ball you used for every frame, so you can see which balls you do better with.

PinPal puts tons of useful stats right at your fingertips. Ever wondered what spares you leave the most, and how often you are able to pick it up? Well now you can find out!

Scores can be entered either by selecting all the pins you knocked down or entering the scores you get for each ball. Also, if you don't want to take the time to enter each frame, you can just enter the final score for the game.

Any questions, comments, concerns, complaints, compliments, suggestions, or feedback of any other sort can be directed at PinPalAndroid@gmail.com

This is a great app for keeping track of your bowling scores, leaves, etc. I like that I am able to check my stats and see how I'm doing with my spares and be able to track my league and tournament averages. The only real issue I have is this: when I shoot a good score/series and try to share it to FB, all that happens is the posting page opens up for you to write something. If you want a picture of the series or the text of your game/series, it doesn't upload when you select. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, if so maybe someone can let me know, but that is the only issue I have with it. Thanks for a great app!

I love this app but I wish they'd give the option to make a game a no-tap scoring. If the can make the numbers red for a split, why not the same for a strike?

I like this app I have been running it for years but lately the ability to back up my files is gone missing or the android version is limited to only SD card back up and even though is says that the back up is complete. I can never update my info.

It works great twice lost all the stats on android, i made sure it was backed up on sd card, never could find the file

love this app, but it scares me because the backup doesn't appear to work. Would like to be able to sync/ backup data to my pc, as i'm about to update to a new Galaxy note and not sure I won't lose 5+ years of data.

I really like this app and have just recently switched to android. I bought it again because its so nice. Low star raring because Key features that are in the iPhone app are missing. The ability to view series stats and strike stats are a couple I miss. Back up file is not standard across platforms.

S70%

This would be a for sure 5 star app if there were a place to add game notes. That would enable a bowler to record a reason for a ball change, to note difference in lane conditions, etc.

The iOS version of the app was great - there wasn't anything that I wanted out if the app that it couldn't do... but the Android version of the app is basically useless! With the iOS version I could get stats on a game-by-game / weekly basis, but that "feature" is lacking miserably on the Android version. Why? Dont Android users have that same requirement? The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is for the iOS version - the Android version leaves much to be desired. I'm providing an update as I wrote the above "review" 4 months ago and had sent Jeff an email voicing my frustration with the app. I've received NO response from him in that time and have sent him yet another email (see below). I will be lowering my rating to an "average" 3 stars - here's hoping that Jeff will care enough to address my - and others - comments. Updates to the Android version of this app. If so, when? If not, why not? As I mentioned to you in a previous email and a review post, the inability to obtain NIGHTLY stats is a HUGE issue. If you’re not going to support the Android version via updates – there’s been NO update since June 2013 – why are you still selling it?

Only thing i wish it had was a ball for each frame. Cause sometimes i throw 2 different balls for the first ball. Just saying. Probably only one who does it

Running stock 4.4.4 on Verizon Galaxy s5. Force close when you try to add a league or tournament. It still adds it, just a small bug I noticed. I think it has something to do with touchwiz because I didn't have this problem on my droid RAZR running cm 11

This app is really good at keeping track of your pin fall and what leaves you have. However as it has leagues section it could do with the option of recording handicap in there to see how that is changing over time.

I like this app. I bowl 3 leagues a week and track all my pin counts. Lets me know where my problem spots are. I would sure like to see the ability to add lane numbers and more games per set. I bowl a lot of tournaments where I bowl up to 8 or 12 games in a squad.

Very happy now that I am able to enter just final score on my phone. Small glitch with it which the developer has been working to help me with. Like how I can keep track of splits as well.

I still give it five stars because it's the (only?) best bowling app I've used. I just wish it had a notes section and the ability to bowl no-tap. I bowl in some tournaments like that and it kind of screws my statistics.

This app runs flawlessly and is the best one I've used so far. There could be more features but when there's nothing else as good as this. 5 stars ✨
