On HTC Desire X works 5 of 10 times for example... Sometimes with a huge delay. When I drop the phone nothing happens and a few minutes after it starts ringing for nothing... Not impressed at all. Are you working on fixing these issues?!

I was looking for an app that could mail me coordinates after a drop. Making noise is good too, but maybe you could look into mailing or SMS'ing coordinates (e-mail could link to Google maps.).

I saw this posted on reddit and I thought it was worth a try. However this app DOES need some improvements. I gave the app a good number of drop tests and had trouble with calibrating the app settings to trigger every time I dropped it. I could shake the phone and trigger it, however my test drops from bed height and waist height failed to trigger the alert 6/10 times on average. Also this app failed to be installable on my tablet. I can think of many reasons that one would want their tablet to be usable and I feel like it should work with my tablet as well. Your mileage may vary with this app, so Caveat Emptor until the app has matured some.

Me and my co-workers spent several minutes dropping my Droid RAZRMAXX from various heights and situations to try this app out. After adjusting the sensitivity of the app we found the threshold that simulates an ACTUAL accidental dropped phone. the app is now VERY VERY valuable now. Ive got a phone tracker incase its stolen but this is now my first line of defense for a lost phone. I am notified right away instead of letting a thief find my phone first!!
