Foster Parent Assistant

Foster Parent Assistant provides foster parents with a central location for keeping track of information on each their foster children. It will track the name, DOB, date arrived, biological parent name, etc. for each foster child. The application also allows parents to (optionally) save a (password protected) encrypted Social Security number for their foster children. In addition, foster parents can enter information on each foster child's social worker and attorney if desired. In addition to information on each foster child, the application also allows users to enter information on official conversations they have had about a selected child. For example, "spoke with social worker today about adoption status". Finally, the application allows the foster parent to enter notes on their foster children. Parents can also take pictures of their foster children inside the application and the pictures will automatically be associated with the selected foster child. Need to be able get the information off your device? No problem. The selected child's information can be exported to a series of text files on the SD card.

However, this is not the end. This application is part of a larger collection of applications. Users will be able to purchase add-ons for this application. The add-ons will track things like financial information (expenses, reimbursements, etc.), respite care information, incident reports and more. These add-ons will each be sold separately, so the foster parent is able to purchase only the add-ons they will use. This allows each foster parent to customize the application for their own needs.
