Modern displays are using three color pixels (red, green and blue) to display colors. For displaying red on your screen, only the red pixel is glowing, for displaying yellow, the red and green pixels are glowing, for displaying white all pixels glow and so on. Studies occupy, that the blue light influences the human hormonal system and harms the eyes. This supports eye irritation and insomnia. To work against this you have the option not to use your smartphone, wearing glasses which filter the bluelight or you can install the Free Bluelight Filter App.
