bus@toronto for Android
Works very good.
A bit weird interface to find the Route but once you do the UI is clean just basically shows the bus arrival time.

Of the 'next bus' apps I've used, this one is one of the more awkward to add 'favorite' routes (I have to type out their names, even though the app knows their names). It also doesn't update automatically, though the 'refresh' button works. And the 'at a glance' list of all your favorite routes doesn't show any arrival times. The biggest negative of the app though, is that as soon as it launches it turns on the GPS, even if I'm only looking at my favorites. Worse, it leaves the GPS turned on upon exit, using up battery unless I manually toggle the phone's GPS off and then on again.
looks like a good app but keeps crashing whenever I try and select fav star & if I get past that point it crashes when asked to name fav...uninstall
Clean Holo layout , easy to use, nearby function works well. Small size. Like it. Needs night mode.
update did the job
Found this app through MobileSyrup, which praised the design. And it is indeed very easy on the eyes. However, the predictions don't refresh automatically, which has made me miss my bus a couple of times. The other problem I had was that it seemed to be rather resource intensive, using 25% of the CPU at times and crashing upon exit. Would definitely consider trying the app again once it's been updated.
Recently switched from Next TTC. Love this app.
Best looking Toronto transit app by light years. Thank you Dev.
