Picit is a social networking app, which allows users to share in real-time their special picture moments with optional custom effects applied (picits). Also, users are only able to view a picit for as long as the sender specifies; after the specified time interval (currently between 1 and 15 seconds) it vanishes from the recipient's device as well as from the server!
As a unique feature, Picit allows you to find other random users to cummunicate with based on criteria such as activity (last logged-in), gender, and distance (e.g.,within 100 kilometers from you)!
Capture a picit using your device camera, or select one from your existing pictures.
Use the integrated editor to draw on and add effects to your picit (such as stickers, custom text, filters and frames).
Get notified instantly when receiving a picit with push notifications.
Sign up for a Picit account, or login with your Facebook account.

Crashes without even being open... Not sure how that even works, but I checked running programs and all. My touchscreen app has also been crashing since I installed picit. If it worked smoothly it'd be a nice app.

like this app would be so much better if you could actually find people and send pics. Oh and open received ones. Had like 50+ pics that I couldn't open coz it's a poop app. Deleting this poop app and reporting it.

Let's take over from Snapchat. Good to see you do it for windows phone too. I kept my android for Snapchat and other apps but love the windows phone hope you keep the windows version upto date. With a few tweaks it can be 100℅ better then Snapchat. It's good you can send pics from photo gallery and save your pics. Good work

Nice idea, but it is super glitchy. Sometimes the pictures are all scrambled and won't load right. There are so many options available though, its pretty fun to play around with.

I think this app has a lot to offer. There are many aspects that I enjoy more than Snapchat. The ability to edit pictures is amazing. Plus I have a friend with a Windows phone and this is how we communicate because apparently Snapchat hasn't made a Windows app. But I do miss having an actual address book and My Story snaps. But I am impressed. Keep up the good work :)

Snap chat is better. I do like that you can edit your pics. But that's about it. It's always freezing and shutting off.

Can't upload a profile picture, it uploads but no button to save so it doesn't stay. Can't add gender or age. When searching for users it says no Internet connection. No option to add by username. My partner who has a windows phone added me but I can't see any evidence of such event.
