theres a huge lag when trying to view what you intend to take aphoto of and if you change settings the view constantly reloads the view which results in a partial photo and huge white area...pointless and waste of space..Several updates and still doesn't work!!

Set up on tab in seconds without touching the pi. Great for camera alignment etc. Nice work, thank you!

Crashes on opening or after 5 sec. Used to be great but now is useless. Installed on Galaxy S5 with android 6.

Works great. Should put -rot 180 as an option in the advanced settings.

Permissions require phone call history, why?

Connected easily but there's major lag between button presses and anything happening. Many of the settings like brightness don't work, and every time I tried to save a picture, only part of the photo saved, the rest of it was blank. The photo quality was really poor - much worse than using my picam on its own! :(

I've been using it since it was created. A good piece of software for pi users

Works ok, but it's rather slow. H264 also stopped working recently. The app saves the images to "nowhere" on my Xperia Z3 compact. I can never find them. And even if I change the default password to my own, it never saves it, or the IP address for auto-connect.

Could be a bit quicker

I've tried to connect with several other apps but this is the only one that never can connect to my pi. Using all the same credentials in SSH or putty or any other way works, but I was not once ever able to connect. (rp2, OSMC) I won't delete it yet, in hopes of it eventually working.

But there are some issues: One, although H264 works well for continuous video, in the intermittent mode set for 0.1 sec/frame, I only get one frame every 1 to 2 secs. Two, it doesn't correctly remember my password, and I use a long password that is very tedious to type in with the on-screen keyboard, especially since you can't see mistakes. I'd also like to be able to address my RPi's by hostname rather than by IP and be able to turn off the automatic scan. Hostnames work well with most of my other Android network-enabled apps, 'Juice' and 'Remote Ripple' for example. Five stars if fixed! Still a great app as is. Thanks.

Used it for the red supermoon, last night. Initially OK, a little slow and not saving everything, during a test run. When I actually went out at 02:45, it showed images but not one image was saved and eventual it just stopped.

Works fine right out of the box on my Nexus 5, but there is a 4-5 sec. lag, which may be due to the way the camera is set to stream on the Pi, or in the VLC video player settings.

Moments before the latest update I could see both my Pi's using the previous version. Updated. Restarted. Now neither of them are visible and the autoseek can't find them and manually adding doesn't work. I found a full Uninstall/Reinstall of this app allowed me to manually add both Pi's. Autoseek still cannot find them. Still better than any other Pi Cam app

You'll get five stars if you can solve this issue: I can't get a picture. It was there then it disappeared, so I know my camera is ok. I can connect to my pi with your app without any problems. Any ideas?

I'm using secure keys, but this app allows only insecure connections

Great app. Makes using your phone to see your RPi camera super easy. I set up port forwarding so can watch my cat from anywhere in the world if I need to. However, the 30fps mode isn't working with my USB cam.

Does what it say s - was up and running with pi cam almost immediately

Z70%

Suits my needs. Small issue, however. If sdcard/DCIM/Camera doesn't already exist (as was the case on my Nexus 7 2012) images won't actually be saved to the Gallery. Perhaps have the app create its own separate directory in /sdcard? Thanks!

Works well. I can connect to my time lapse camera over wifi no problem.

Leave it pointing at dog level by bowl, door or window and you can see if they are hungry or barking at something. Very easy to setup and use.

What player can I use to view the H264 stream? Everything I have tried fails playing the stream, saying it cannot be played.

X70%

It took me some time to get up and running. I tried to install vlc and fswebcam, i dont know if they are dependencies. I found out that the problem was that motion was runni g on my pi, but i didnt get any warnings about that the cam was busy or if vlc or fswebcam was missing?
