Wear Brightness Menu for Android
USAGE: After having installed Wear Brightness Menu on your phone, please allow approx. 30 seconds for the app to be pushed to your watch. Once installed there, open the Wear Brightness Menu app on your watch to access the configuration screen. Tap the left-hand circle to activate Wear Brightness Menu. Tapping the right-hand circle lets you change the swiping gesture which will open the Brightness Menu. The default is “right” – meaning that the Brightness Menu will be accessible via a swipe down from the rightmost third of the upper edge. Tap to change this gesture to a swipe down from the leftmost third or from the center third of the screen’s upper edge. You can then access the Brightness Menu from anywhere via the selected swiping gesture. In this menu, there are the slider an four buttons: below the slider, the “less” and “more” buttons – and above it, the two quick-select buttons for selecting the minimum and maximum brightness with one tap. If you hit these, the pull-down menu will be dismissed automatically – for the other options, dismiss the Brightness Menu via a swipe up when you are done...

Brightness goes back to system setting when swiping away this app pulldown

App works great on Huawei watch. So much easier than going through settings menu. Swipe down from right side is easy to use and distinct from middle swipe. My only complaint is that brightness does not affect the dimmed "ambient"mode. I have my watch set to "always on" so I use the ambient mode quite a bit. It is fine most of the time but I would like the option to dim it at night when even the dimmed watchface is too bright.
