TrackR - Lost Item Tracker

The app doesn't save settings. And the devices just don't work. I'm tech savvy and know my way around electronics. I keep sending them back and they get replaced with more duds. So far 1 out of 6 has worked as advertised and that number could change because I'm still waiting to get a second working device. The best feature of this entire system is the idea. Executing this idea has been a total fail.

It's great if I lost my phone in my bedroom because it's so small, very disappointed with the length of delivery and no battery power when received. Stevie Wonder has a better chance finding my wallet or my car keys then this!!!! Video look great tho, wished I went to Tile instead! !!

I was looking forward to using this tool. (Update: The devices are not even working anymore! The firmware does not update either.) First attempt: the alarm sound was soooo WEAK you barely hear it beside you! (You need customized Sound levels now!! Not too loud to scare your cats but loud enough for your keys!) Location is not even accurate. It says my keys are 10 km away. Alarm does not even start when tested at times. Trackr too big for cats. This product needs total revamping. ALSO promo video is totally misleading about location feature which depends on crowd GPS users!

It does what it says, and within your house it's easy to find. Needs more users to compete with the crowd sourcing of Tile when having lost something far away. I like the replaceable battery, which is way better than Tile which you have to repurchase.

I ask seller in the shop, if it works like a gps location device and to show me location on the map; answer: YES I test it before use! -5 star Good idea, but my friend it is not working. Whay do i need to use maps to locate my bluetooth device???? 10 mtr range??? So to place it on my bike, my bike get stolen, and what now? TrackR get me money back hahahahah it works only 5 mtrs away from my phohe!!!! Crap, i bought 2 pcs!! I will claim my money back!!!

Constant issues with connectivity. Didn't work when I actually needed to find a misplaced set of keys.

Battery only lasts about 5 months. Has trouble locating items a foot away. Ok if the app happens to log a location before you leave it behind. Mostly useless.

Waste of money. Paired to begin with and after two days it's stopped working. Changed battery and re enrolled but nothing. Tried pairing new device and nothing. Deleted app and started again, nothing. Now waisting time and money. Crap crap crap.

I live in a remote area, and my dog gets lost in the woods. This works great so I can find her.

It works great for me, I had to learn all of the options first. My phone vibrates, and my "TrackR" sounds, when the two are separated, that's the settings that works for me.

App keeps shutting off. Can't sign in before it brings up other screens irrelevant

Totally unreliable. First, it took over a month to arrive. Second, my phone often can't find the Trackr...even when I'm holding both in my hand. Junk.

Waste of money. TrackR is useless. Unfortunatly i bought 10 of it. Now dont know what to do with it. TrackR stoped "working" after 2-3 months. Cant find my device even when it is next to it.

I would like to see more features like position history, vibrate with sound, set separation alert distance, selfie shutter.

Lets you down when you need it. Randomly loses signal as I move *closer* to the trackr. Won't reconnect even if you restart the app. Lucky I found them without its "help"

Don't lock your app up just because I didn't want to create an account. Bluetooth technology anyway

This app can track your lost items.................As long as the item's within one meter from your phone......................

Battery consumption seems better. If not will uninstall and re-install only when needed

Crap

Hard to pair with Bluetooth, especially when you replace the battery. The devices burn through battery very quickly and gave no low warning. They have to be too close to work. There are not enough people in metro St. Louis using them to allow tracking. Useless for anything but a trusted Bluetooth device and it can't even be trusted to do that reliably. Bought 5. What a waste. :(

It doesn't work, it recognises the trackR and will show last position but if you actually try to ring it then it can't connect - I have tile app and it works perfectly with Tiles, this is unfit for purpose

Crap! volume so low, I have to hold it to my ear to hear it. Waste of money.

It seems like a very good concept, but I just could not get it to work! I tried to get this device via the app to pair with my Samsung Note 4, but it just would not do it. My bluetooth was on and working properly. I even went so far as to unpair devices from my bluebooth that I no longer use. I've uninstalled and re-installed this app 5 times trying to get it to pair with TrackR. As a last resort, I got help from a very nice person by the name of Dinah via TrackR's support chat for ideas, tips and tricks on how I could make this device via the app pair with my Note 4. It just won't work. So back to the store I go with this one!

Pretty darn good, the only things bad are the range and amount of noise. Does not work accross the house. Maybe (I bought 4 and they came with 6 free) I can open one and put a louder speaker in. Maybe even increase the range. May fail but I don't need 10 I just wanted to grab the deal

Trackr is a cheap and nasty piece of trash. With a bigger price. Similar devices are on eBay at as low as A$1.99 which is a lot less to lose when you find out it doesn't work as advertised. I absolutely regret getting 10 of these. Customer service is useless. The advertising is bulltish as well. One ad i saw said 4.5 million units shipped yet in an email from them they said only 2.5 million had been sent. Surely staff shouldn't get the figures that wrong.

App is okeyish... the app is not focusing on the main feature finding things. Please enable API ... The community could probably come up with better features. After 30 min use: 1. Allow people with no device also be crowd GPS providers. And encourage them to install the app by giving them chance to win the device – more options to find my device. 2. Can you add notifications for Android... So I would see things from my smartwatch too. 3. Please add also configurable alerts for locating process. If my device is visible suddenly somewhere etc.

I added a new device with the second name of "keys" and I can't see it on my app. It's mean that I can't use it (no opportunity to reset it). Group devices are not working as well, because in one app you can see the device, but really owner can't connect with it. One of device is damaged and support don't want to change it (they do not answer already one month)!

Only works in car when I'm close enough! If car was stolen I'd never find it as I couldn't get the crowd gps to work. However the app said I had helped 3,000 people find their items?I bought 2 more to see if maybe I had a dud...and they were useless didnt work. Bought new batteries twice and still didn't work! I love the concept and really wanted them to work. Can you please send me 3 that work...

Should be called shitr because of how this company just let the ratings sink this app by not fixing anything since launch. Good job devs. You can't even set a custom ringtone because the app crashes, that's pretty pathetic. Tile has a good app rating, maybe their products actually work.
