ClockShark is the time clock app for users of ClockShark.com, a cloud-based construction time clock app used by both construction and field service companies. ClockShark is a simple and easy-to-use time clock for employees while out on the job site. Times are synced automatically with ClockShark.com, and feature GPS tracking of worker locations, the ability add notes while clocking in and out, and the ability to view upcoming work schedules.

1. Employees Punch In and Out
Employees punch in on the time clock app via their smartphone, tablet or on the web. This makes it easy to collect time accurately using the devices your employees already carry, without expensive hardware to buy. You get an accurate time record and your crews get an easy to use app. You'll spend less time messing with time cards and more time making money.
2. You View Times on the Website
After employees punch in and out, their times and worked job codes from the time clock app are automatically uploaded to your web dashboard (usually in near real time). There you can view and edit time including daily totals, weekly totals and job totals. Payroll will be quicker and more accurate, so you can stop losing time and money that you could be using on other parts of your business.
3. GPSTrak™ (GPS technology)
The GPSTrak feature shows you where each punch occurred on a map. It gives you peace of mind that everyone is where they should be, so you can worry less and focus on bigger problems.
4. Job Cost by Job Name and Task
As you land jobs, you can easily add them via the website with a name and job number. Then your employees can clock in to that specific job via the mobile app on their smartphone or tablet. They can also select a Task Code, such as Framing, Concrete Work, or Travel Time. Employees can easily switch jobs or tasks from the mobile app during the day, so that your job costing and payroll is accurate.
5. Schedule Employees by Job Site
Schedule your employees by dragging any of your active jobs onto the schedule board. Employees can instantly view their schedule via their smartphone. Now you don't have to stay late sending text messages or making phone calls about tomorrow's schedule changes. You can even add notes, like "bring your concrete tools" or "meet us at 239 Acacia St".
6. Run Easy Reports
Once you're done reviewing your payroll and making any edits needed, you can run and print easy reports. Drains Battery! .. I used to be able to turn off location after I clocked in and I'll turn on again to clock out... and now it doesn't let me I can't turn off my location because it'll clock me out automatically!... that sucks!

Lots of inefficiencies in the company and a lot of lazy people standing around doing nothing. The company needed a way to spy on us at a low cost. Now we can with this app that turns our cell phones into spying phones. Our foreman accidentally showed us the spy map because he thought he was the one being spied on. 10/10 would recommend to all lazy people.

What i think it my be useful if when looking at time sheet on your hrs worked like reg,ot. If you clicked those it would show the hrs of the days where those hrs where accrued just a thought

If you put in half the effort into your app as you do infiltrating a user's device with ads (video and static), you might have a decent product. I'm going to be doing all I can to rid myself and our company (I'm the sole IT guy) of your product given the haphazard and lackluster automated approach to follow up and customer service you provide.

What do you consider a typical data plan? And how much data can I expect this app to use?

Add a folder with our daily activities and times. Personally I need an alarm for when it is break or lunch time because I'll /we'll work through it. An alert that your about to exceed 8hrs would be helpful. Question: After clocking out does it still track us?

If there is ever a question about hours worked, When you receive your check, all hours from that pay period are deleted from the employee side of the app. There needs to be a way for the employee to log their own hours. The employer is about to manipulate the hours on the time sheet without the employee knowing. I think the employee should get notified of management modifies their time card.

Myself and many of my co workers think It would be an amazing feature to have an option to set a time to end a lunch break and have it be ended 30 minutes after you start. Or however long the user decided. Not meaning that you should be able to automatically have the lunch start but automatically have it end. And possibly a notification saying lunch or break had ended. It's very easy to forget to end lunch.

I use to text everywhere I went during the week and write out my time sheets every other week. Not any more. The GPS helps prove your time travel. No doubts. We have a lot of locations in the list. Can you guys create a favorites or most used locations section. I've never lost hours. Some have tried to defeat the app but have failed. I use it on my Note 4. Minimal battery loss.

App is easy to use. As an employee on the app side it would be very helpful to have a daily and weekly total instead of trying to add up all of the tasks in my head.

Needs a persistent notification displaying current job and time elapsed. Would increase accuracy by functioning as a constant reminder. A pop up notification when over "x" hours per day would also be a great help. Geo fencing has been discussed on forum for over a year but still isn't included. Overall decent but there hasn't been any meaningful improvements employee-side in a while.

Works fine but little worried about how much the boss has access to my phone. Would like to be able to view notes after I have clocked out. Can't go back and see what I put in my notes. Also an alarm for when lunch is over would be awesome!

I like the app. You need to refresh daily. Doesn't show real time clock in until the clock out for each employee. Another words you won't know if anyone is late or didn't show up to work until the end of the day.
